Services
Train directly and privately with a personal trainer focused only on your goals at your convenience. You get the exact workout that you need to meet your goals in a private setting. A lot of clients prefer to work out individually with a trainer, and we're glad to offer this highly effective, custom service.
Our studio is a 3,000 square foot personal training facility, the largest in the area. It's equipped with every necessary piece of fitness equipment. We don't believe that traditional weight machines allow the body to move well, so we use methods and exercise equipment that encourages natural movement patterns.
We strive to be flexible in our availability for private and semi-private training sessions. Enroll here The MovNat system focuses on teaching the most effective, efficient and adaptable way to move. When you work with a trainer at Plank, you also have access to the facility during our Open Gym hours to do additional workouts provided.

I have been going to Plank Fitness for a little over two years. I have a chronic pain condition, and wanted to learn how to improve my pain levels through strength training and exercise. I could not be more pleased with my experience— Peter is a wonderful trainer. If ever my pain means I can’t do a certain exercise, he always has a modification ready. Never once have I been made to feel ashamed about my limits, nor have they ever proved a hinderance to getting a great workout. I have gotten so much stronger in the last couple of years, and for me that has resulted in lower pain levels overall

What a great find this was for me. Plank Fitness was recommended to me by a friend. I had surgery on two torn quad tendons a year before and my recovery seemed to be progressing slower than I had anticipated. After calling to set up an appointment for an evaluation, I met with Gaelyn Rogers, one of the therapists there. We went over some of the history with my accident and the recovery thereafter. Gaelyn then scheduled some procedures and instituted an exercise program for me to do at home. I can already feel some progress being made by the way my knees are responding to the therapy. My sister gave me the most incredible gift for my 40th birthday; 8 Semi-Private training sessions and a personalized nutritional plan to help me make realistic and practical changes towards an overall healthier lifestyle. I have worked out for years, and only now am I seeing serious results! Plank offers the best! Period! Don't think "mega" gyms with waits and fake posers, this is the real deal! The staff is knowledgeable, dependable, and if you follow their lead, you can't help but see the results! Give them 6 months, check out your before and after photos, and you'll see for yourself! I am only one month in for training and I have loved how everything is broken down to a science. The trainers really care about your form and overall spirit throughout the training. They're directive but not overbearing. I have felt very encouraged and I am digging all the creative workouts. Keeps me interested and when I am not training, I feel knowledgable enough to do the routines on my own! Highly encourage jumping into Semi-Private lessons if packages are pricey. They're still very intimate regardless of other trainers working with their trainee.

It's been almost a year since I started training with Wendy and I can honestly say I'm in the best shape of my life. She incorporates varied exercises, nutritional advice and an emphasis on remaining injury free, all in an encouraging non competitive environment. Her personality is perfectly suited to challenging yourself, seeing results and being 100% supportive. I've really never liked working out but I love it now! Thanks Wendy and Kevin for all your efforts making Plank an awesome place!
