KLA Schools of Chamblee is located in the heart of Chamblee, GA. Our school is inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach to early childhood education. An inviting, respectful, and consistent environment, our goal is to provide a place where children's abilities, competences, and natural aptitudes are nurtured in ways that develop new and inherent talents.

Services
Candy Ortega, her husband, Roberto and a group of investors and educators opened the first KLA School in Miami, FL, in 2008. For Roberto and Candy, the desire to provide an inspiring curriculum, a nurturing environment, and high quality education to pre-school students across America was deeply rooted.
Our educators know the importance of creating a trust filled relationship with our infants. As our educators soothe and nurture children they support them in building a sense of confidence by responding quickly and appropriately to their natural cues. Our educators comfort your baby while holding, talking, singing in a quiet reassuring voice, and by making eye contact with them.
We investigated many great philosophers and were most influenced by Jean Piaget's Constructivist Theory and Lev Vygotsky's Socio-Constructivist Theory, as well as the works of John Dewey on the importance of bringing students' past experiences into the classroom. The works of Jerome Bruner and Paulo Freire also amazed us.

EDITED 2022: Still love this school! Both my sons attend KLA now and all of their teachers are just wonderful. I feel completely comfortable knowing they're in great hands and learning so much. Finding KLA has been such a blessing for our family.

Our 18 month old has been at KLA for a few months and we have had the best experience. David the owner, Taylor the director, the rest of the staff and teachers have all been wonderful and have maintained open communication. It’s a beautiful and clean facility and they are always making improvements and happy to entertain recommendations or thoughts from parents. We came from another daycare in the area and felt that we had no idea what was going on inside the school - KLA makes sure we are proactively informed and comfortable. Can’t recommend this place enough!

I cannot say enough good things about KLA and David Margolis, who runs the show! He took on the incredibly daunting task of creating a safe space where kids from DeKalb schools could do their virtual learning. We were so lucky to have our daughter there for the last 8 months. While not without some minor ups and downs, it went as well as it possibly could under these extraordinary circumstances. David is the most involved, easily accessible, and communicative school owner you could ask for! Staff is all warm and friendly, and Taylor, the director, is equally amazing! We have had the best experience at KLA of Chamblee! The owner opened up classes for the Montgomery Elementary and Ashford Park community to help parents with digital learning in August of 2020. This provided a service that allowed many parents to return to their jobs and allow their children to follow the online learning provided by Dekalb County. They also opened a face to face Kindergarten class in January 2021 since many parents felt digital learning was not working for their younger children. KLA of Chamblee stepped up and has provided a true Kindergarten experience for these children that

We now have three kids at KLA and I have been very happy with the teachers and curriculum. Our first grader started at KLA in Sept and David really went above and beyond with the Ashford Park parents to administer virtual learning pods at KLA. My 1 yr old started at the beginning of the year and we’ve greatly enjoyed how quickly he’s been picking up motor skills and words, due to the individualized attention of the teachers. My 5 year also began in the Pre-k room recently and I have been very impressed with Ms Angela. All in all a good experience.

KLA is an amazing school. They have my little one excited to go to school everyday. The director, Taylor, and staff have kept me aware of everything that goes on in the school, especially during these difficult covid times where keeping routine has become difficult. I have been working for KLA since August 2020. The facility is amazing! The owner David is down -to-earth and very friendly! I am truly grateful to be working for such an amazing company that allows me to be myself and honors their word of meaningfulness experiences. I love it here! I highly recommend working! I am sad that I am moving away...I will miss my KLA family!

We moved from another local preschool to KLA and could not be happier about our decision. At KLA we feel like valued, involved participants in our daughter's education. The teachers at KLA are so kind and caring. We really appreciate the Reggio Emilia style approach. It is very kid-focused and learning-friendly. The staff is equally as kind and caring as the teachers. Everyone greets you by name, and you feel like a part of the KLA family. Our daughter absolutely loves it, and we will be sending our son there as well when he is old enough.

Both moving homes and transitioning schools has been very difficult during covid. I was very impressed with both this facility and staff. The facility was very clean and organized, the classrooms were spacious, and I was informed about class size reductions for better safety guidelines. The director and staff were all very informative and friendly. Im excited to have ended the hunt and to have found a place that feels safe.

This daycare is one of the best in the area. They are not your regular daycare centers. They keep children their priority, accommodate their need, give special attention where it’s required, keep parents informed on progress. Even during the pandemic, the way the school handled the cleanliness, safety measures, were all above and beyond. David is instrumental in making sure the institute runs smoothly and always keep parents at ease. We are so glad that we sent our kids to KLA.. !!
