Greenfield Animal Hospital was founded in 1956 and has served the Metro Detroit area with pride ever since. Dr. Jillian Shencopp started as a kennel attendant when she was just 16 years old. She worked in many roles at the hospital until leaving for MSU. After graduating, she came back to Greenfield Animal Hospital as a proud Veterinarian in 2016.

From routine wellness to dental care to boarding, Greenfield Animal Hospital is here for your pet's every need. We offer a full array of preventive, maintenance, and medical care for your pets. We also offer boarding and grooming services. While we primarily see dogs and cats, Dr. Jachman can see small mammals, reptiles, and birds.

My dog has been struggling with confidence at the vet since she was quite young. Greenfield has made sure that she is comfortable, safe, and moved entirely at her own pace through every visit! They are willing to work with individual needs and personalities and I love that they care about her experience with them :)

Why cant be a negative ratings in here. Be Warned!! This place will scam you. We called and make sure the revisiting fee is wave since we paid for it already multiple times they said all set even front desk we even stop by and they said all set then. When i got back home all sudden they called asking for $88 are you serious and stating “miscommunication “ no there no miscommunication if there a fault into this it would be the staff dont be giving us mis information thats not our fault.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about this place and had intended to make a switch, but sometimes inertia wins. However, when a serious concern came up with my dog and cat, I called because my other vet couldn’t get us in for nearly 2 months. Greenfield offered us an appointment the following week, for which I was so grateful. We’ve been to Greenfield once so far and it’s been much better than at my previous vet - from scheduling, to communication (they offer phone, text, and email which is so helpful) to how the waiting room is set up, to the care and treatment from Savannah and Dr. Sewick

I can't share enough of how much Greenfield has helped me and my fur babies...not just for routine care but for emergency as well. I have one senior cat with random emergencies and they have always worked to get him in when they can and give him the best care they could. Bigsby is alive today and doing better because of Greenfield animal hospital. Dr Jachman, Dr. Doolin, and Dr. Hood have all given me calls to check in on Bigsby and stay up to date with his progress. Even when I didn't have an upcoming appointment or anything. I've felt that they truly care about his health and wellness. Thank

So happy I found Greenfield Animal Hospital! The staff is caring and you can tell that they love their job. Dr Sewick is fantastic! She explains the plan of care and answers all my questions thoroughly. She is kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. I don’t live in the area and drive 40 minutes to get to them, but the trip is well worth it.

Overall they are really great, they care about the animals, they take the time to make you comfortable about the treatment plan, they always show me a quote before they do anything and they do a very thorough job evaluating.
I switched to this vet after trying 6 others in the area. I have an abused rescue dog and it has been a struggle finding a vet who is willing to cater to his needs. I will be staying with Greenfield Animal hospital from now with all my pets because they really were able to give them the gentle care they needs.

I really can’t say enough great things about this veterinary facility. Compassionate and friendly staff and doctors, extremely transparent and professional, and reasonable pricing. I brought my old kitty here for years up to the end of his life, and when it was time for him to pass the staff and doctor were so kind and made sure we gave our good boy the most peaceful transition possible. Our current kitty is also a patient despite the fact that we recently moved a half hour away; it’s worth the drive to deal with a facility that I trust, one that offers reasonably priced AND excellent service
