As a first time home buyer, I had a remarkable experience with Carod Properties. My relator was very helpful, informative, and dedicated to making my experience as smooth as possible. I ran into a few "speed bumps" throughout the process. However, these issues were quickly resolved thanks to the help and knowledge from my relator. Also, on closing I received a wonderful gift basket on behalf of Carod Properties waiting for me on my new kitchen counter! =) I highly recommend their services!

I’ve had the best experience with Sherkica at Carod properties. I literally called her on Monday about selling my property. We met on Tuesday and on Saturday my listing went live. On the following Thursday, I was under contract. I had several offers and she helped negotiate the best offer over my listed price. My process was completely remote after our first meeting bc I moved out of state. Before closing I had a few issues with the buyers agent and she resolved them promptly. My family and I are beyond satisfied with Carod properties. We had the pleasure of working with the owner and she’s amazing. Being first time buyers we were nervous and had so many questions. She was always a phone call or email away to answer them. Even through our difficult schedule needing to contact after hours and on weekends she made herself available. While I love my home, I have been less than satisfied with my experience with Carod Properties as a renter. I have experienced lack of communication, lack of professionalism, condescending tones, and an argumentative nature on numerous occasions. When you bring something to their attention they act as if it is all your fault (as if the communication was clear and concise from the beginning). I would go into more detail, but considering the responses I see on other reviews, I know there will be details left out and an inaccurate picture painted in the response (probably still will be). I can't get Carod Properties to respond to emails about a home they have listed for sale on their website as well as on other major real estate listing sites (Redfin, Zillow, Realtor.com, etc). Every other real estate agent I've dealt with in Charlotte gets back to you within a day or less, this one ignores me for weeks. I also had my own realtor try to contact them, to no avail. Their website looks very nice and professional, so it is easy to be fooled into thinking they're a legitimate business, but they don't act like one. Don't waste your time.

Now this is one property management company that I'll always be grateful for. They didn't nickel and dime me with fees and charges, they were available, convenient when viewing properties and most of all affordable. Never a problem with management, owners, or maintenance. Great property choices too. If I still lived in Charlotte I'd probably still be renting from them.
