Very rude staff . I called up yesterday to scheduled a tour appointment and the lady I spoke with was so rude as if I am getting the apartment for free.

The customer service is awesome, the apartments are remodeled and spacious however not worse 2000 dollars. There was cockroaches and took months to get rid of them. The AC is located in the kitchen and the air only goes to the kitchen. In the summer you will be paying 400 or more in light and the ac does not go to the rest of the apartment you will have to buy another AC for the bedroom unless you want to live in an oven. And in the winter really cold inside the apartment unbearably cold. Also, the neighbor downstairs didn't clean outside ever and has a couple of dogs and it stinks terribly. Other

This place was my home for almost 2 years. But it’s honestly overpriced and infested with roaches. My place was treated twice but the roaches never fully went away. The scent of them lingered behind the appliances. It definitely wasn’t luxury. Also, the leasing staff is always changing and are inconsistent with information. For example, one person told me it’s ok to park overnight in an unmarked spot, but I got towed the next day. One person also told me the termination fee is due by the day you plan to leave, but I got charged that plus another month of rent even though I was no longer living

They schedule an appointment, confirm it, and when you get there they're like "oops we don't have anything". This place is terrible. If they mess this simple stuff up, just imagine living here with these guys in charge

Rude staff especially the one with the accent. Forgot to mention mold grew on our carpet from a leak in the ceiling that took a month to fix. ROACHES! Never has them in my life until I moved in here. Oh and the best for last, it always smells like dog urine and feces from my downstairs neighbor 🤗. Listen to the reviews and save yourself a year of headache. Wish I would’ve!

Decent apartment, overpriced considering being in an extremely loud neighborhood next to mira mesa blvd and camino ruiz. If you want silence this is not the place for you. Laundry room is overpriced as well, $5 per load which they are also small. Be prepared to not receive your security deposit back. They will charge an entire carpet removal, painting, cleaning fee even if you cleaned very well. I spent money doing it just to get charged more in the end. Unless you need to be in the immediate Mira Mesa area I do not recommend these apartments. Would have left a better review if they didn't

The apartments themselves are fine. The management company are tedious, unhelpful, blaming and rude. I've been called stupid, overcharged thousands of dollars, they've failed to come for maintenance when they said they would. It took me months for them to contact the correct individual on the lease. So many aggravating interactions with staff that are only good at denying and blame.

We have been living there for 2 years with my wife, in a 1B1B unit on Capricorn Way.
On the positive side, the units are nice and recently remodeled. It was just remodeled before we moved in, with new kitchen appliances and carpet.
The location of the units is also convenient, and the neighborhood is calm and pleasant to leave in.
The units are aging though and have serious pipes issues: toilets, sinks and bathtub are getting clogged very frequently, even if you pay attention to what you flush. You go odd issues as well: for example, if you flush the toilet while someone takes a shower, this

Okay, I'm sorry but covid is not an excuse to have poor management. I lived in the largest complex in LA and management was 10x better during covid. So I'm over that excuse.

First of all, when I moved in the place was given to me filthy. Sticky hairs and gunk in my bathroom mirror, sticky floors and stains on the cabinets in the kitchen, my light didn't work in the master bathroom & there was paint splattered everywhere on the ceiling from (I'm guessing) the previous tenant. Disgusting.

Secondly, TERMITES. I had a termite swarm which took management forever to handle

The price for the location is great but the trade off is you have to deal with the incompetent management. My roommate and I have had issues since literally day 1. They obviously don't know how to properly set up the place before move in because it was DISGUSTING. Sticky kitchen cabinets and floors, broken light fixtures, the window screens were all on the verge of falling off, paint splattered on the ceiling, a broken fridge, pubes in the tub, dirty mirrors... the list goes on.

Not to mention our laundry units card reader has been broken for TWO MONTHS. If I need to do laundry, I have to

Avoid renting here at all cost. They are scammers. I'll explain why.

1. Only one assigned parking for each unit. You'll have to pay extra if you want to get another unassigned parking in the parking lot.

2. Management will tow your car with no mercy if you dare to park in the parking lot if you didn't pay. They don't even leave you any notice. I got no notice about my car getting towed. Guess what paid for hundreds of dollars. I highly suspect that they have connections with the towing company and this is how they make money.

3. Serious ANTS INFESTATION. I know the properties

I hope you like spiders. The stairs, walkways, and common areas are loaded with them! It does not matter what time of year or how many times you request an exterminator, they somehow never get any better.

Took a tour last week here, the property was nice and the staff were super accommodating. It was overall a pleasant experience and they provided me with all the information needed. Unfortunately there was no availability for my moving time frame so oh well, maybe next time!

Another reviewer had wrote the office never answers they're phone.
It is true! I filled out an online application and had to put down a "holding fee" in order to complete it. We'll turns out I was denied with automatic generated email.
I wanted my deposit back and had no way of confirming my deposit was being refunded. Finally a helpful gal in Central Maintenance, ( the place the local phone number goes through if the office doesn't answer) gave me the corporate number. Janai, helped me with my refund an account manager. Just way too much running around for a simple refund

Nothing luxury about these apartments:
No gym
No INUNIT washer/ dryer
No play area for kids.
Rent is accordingly too high without these amenities.
Even air conditioning they provided only in kitchen which is of no use.

Do not rent here I have been here for a little over a year. The Office never answers the phones, which is weird because there are so many staff when I go to the office. List of Issues I've had since I moved in. Fire alarm in room keeps beeping
Toilet is not working at all, toilet is not flushing.
Same issue as before my sink keeps getting backed up. And it's doing it when I'm not even using it.
My sink is still backing up. I'll be home today, please let me know when you'll be coming.
The sink keeps getting backed up when we use the dishwasher or wash dishes

!!!Slumlords!!! Avoid this place like the plague. They'll screw you over with hidden fee's, damage your property due to their negligence and incompetence, and refuse to pay for it. Don't give them any money so we can hasten their inevitable demise. Evil people shouldn't be allowed to run businesses. Bu we can sleep soundly at night knowing they will be burning in Hell.

This is probably the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. We started noticing water stains on our ceilings and they were getting larger and finally water started leaking out of the ceiling. Notified management immediately and it was the biggest nightmare to get our roof repaired. They set up an industrial blower in our living room and then accused us of not reporting the incident to them sooner. When I told the management that we had made multiple complaints I was told that "It's highly unlike our maintenance department to ignore those complaints." There was also mildew

The apartments aren’t bad, the maintenance staff is wonderful. I do think the apartments are overpriced a little. From first hand experience the leasing office is NOT military friendly. If you are a in any branch of the military I would highly suggest you find somewhere else to live to save you the headache if you deploy or PCS.

The worst place to live at. They have no INTEGRITY of valuing someone's time. Nobody will pick up the call at leasing office, they are ALWAYS late at arriving at the office.

They claim to open the laundry room by 6:00 am and it's not even open by 10:00 am. Because of that I got delayed at office as well.

Maintainence is extremely poor and inefficient.

I moved into The Casas one week ago today and already regret signing the lease.
Move in day:
They demand we pay a price double than what on the lease for move in day. They then tell us that they only have 2 keys available for us even though they have known there are 3 roommates for over a month. She then asks us to sign the inspection sheet without even seeing the apartment, so of course we request that we go check it out before signing anything. We get to our unit and spot 4-5 things wrong immediately, things that we know we would be charged for once our lease ended. Such as broken blinds, marks

Do not move in to this complex if you are looking into it. They don't cover water/trash and for some reason the bill is always $80 each month for some odd reason no matter how many tenants there is. It seems like a scam to be charging the same amount each month. Expect 8% rent increase each year regardless of having any work done to your apartment or not. As for your deposit, you can kiss that goodbye.

My husband and I are new prospects, and honestly, these people could not care any less. We walked in back a couple years ago, and yes, the office staff were friendly and nice until we brought up that we have a dog. Our dog is an emotional support animal, but they did not care after hearing what breed she is. Right after they found out, they completely changed their demeanor. Never in my life have I ever received that sort of treatment. I could take them to small claims court for not honoring the Equal Housing Act, but I decided to just let it slide and move on to the next.
