Our standard home inspection is an evaluation of the visible and accessible interior, exterior and various components of the home. We will explain proper maintenance and point out the emergency shut off valves in the home. A good home inspector will take the time to do a detailed inspection, reporting existing issues and determining the probable lifespan of major home components.
Your report will include our findings of any material defects that are discovered in an easy to read digital format. Recommendations will be provided for monitoring, repair or replacement. InterNACHI will pay up to $10,000.00 (maximum collective aggregate) for the cost of replacement of personal property lost (and not recovered, restituted or insured) during an inspection and stolen by an InterNACHI-certified member of who had displayed the Honor Guarantee webseal on his/her inspection business website and was convicted of or pled guilty (or no contest) to any criminal charge resulting from the member's taking of the personal property.
A home is likely the largest purchase you'll make, so it's important to understand the condition of your investment. I will provide a non-invasive examination of the home. While a home inspection is not a prediction of future conditions, and cannot reveal every concern that exists, it will significantly reduce your anxiety by providing you with the knowledge you need to make an informed home-buying decision.
Chris is wonderful! He was very responsive and flexible with the scheduling of our home inspection. He was thorough and explained everything during the inspection, very patient with all my questions. Plus the report was timely and also very thorough. I used Chris for my new purchase home inspection.
Without utilities, the inspector will need to reschedule, which could delay the closing of your transaction. Without access to these areas the inspector may need to re-schedule to inspect these areas at a later date and for an additional fee. If your pilot lights are not lit, then important items such as the water heater, gas stove, or furnace will not be inspected.
