The Hotel was recently purchased in January of 2021. We have already partially completed ceramic tile upgrades to the bathrooms and the guest bedroom areas. If I could give negative stars to this place, I would. This was not a hotel, this was a motel that was at a hotel price. This place has false advertisement on priceline, indicating that it has been significantly renovated, but this is far from the truth. From the moment we got there, there was a delay in checking guests in and most people were waiting for over an hour to be checked in. We were checked in by careless staff who initially checked us into a dirty room and were completely unapologetic about this. They then checked us into a room that reeked of cigarettes even though it's listed as being

This is my favorite hotel in Galveston. Dustin had the best customer service skills, he was so informative, great personality, and helped me whenever I needed. The hotel was undergoing updates but that didn’t stop the fun we had. I was happy to celebrate Christmas on the beach this year with my son here. I couldn’t have picked a better hotel!

П‘ŽðŸ‘ŽðŸ‘ŽðŸ‘ŽWe took a winter vacation this year at this hotel. Knowing it was cold we booked this place because they had heated pool and continental breakfast. When we arrived they told us that the heated pool was out and there was no continental breakfast, but the website said otherwise. My wife and I tried to explain why this was a problem and the hostess at the counter became very a matter of fact and rude for no reason. We simply said fine and went to our rooms which was also a letdown mold, stank and hair on the pillows. Highly recommend spending your time somewhere else...

I think this is the best hotel in terms of price / quality / location ratio. Good cheap prices to arrive on weekdays. On weekends, the hotel is in demand with visitors and the price is higher. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, the pool was nice. But there is one nuance that I didn’t like for the first time: it’s a large cluster of loud birds in the palm trees. But the hotel and the staff are not to blame. Visited this hotel several times. I am already calm about birds. Therefore, I rate it "excellent". I liked everything! Thank you for a wonderful stay in Galveston!

Badass staff at night. I think her name was Nicole? Very welcoming good energy. The guy the next morning was a whole different story. It was 6:30am, normal hotel coffee time for anyone with business that day and I was told that the lobby was closed? Excellent renovations and very serene colors in the rooms. Right across from the beach. The birds in the trees were very entertaining. My autistic friend had a few screaming episodes and no police were called so that was a plus. The safe provided is easy to access. I just wish I could have used the lobby in the morning.
