Janelle Alexis Flatt, a forever-student of cosmetology and salon veteran, has laid down the key to success behind the chair: experience. This is why she set up an apprentice program for junior stylists, so that they can dive deep into every facet of the craft and the business. It is her belief that nothing short will equip new stylists with the confidence it takes to open up their own businesses.
I met my hair stylist with right on time, and she was great! She was one of those ladies who had been doing hair for almost 30 years, but has been able to keep up with the newest styles and trends. I wasn't very good at telling her how I wanted my hair, but she really listened and worked with me. Love my girl!

I have been getting my hair cut from Janelle the owner for many years. I am very particular about my color and cut. Janelle does an outstanding job every single time. When I moved to Houston from Oregon I was so nervous to try new stylists. I have long blonde hair with hand tied extensions. I am soooo happy I found Morgan at Janelle Alexis salon! She’s not only the sweetest funniest stylists I’ve ever had she’s also amazing with blondes and excellent applying hair extensions. I find the staff at this salon so friendly and professional. I’m always greeted by the other staff members when I’m getting my hair done which is nice and I’ve not experienced at other salons. I love the products they use and sell here too, not easy to find these brands.

Finally a place I feel comfortable and trust with my hair. I went three years without cutting my hair. I saw Dominic and he was amazing. he knew just what to do. the salon is very clean great and friendly staff up front and back. Janelle did an amazing job on my teenager daughter’s hair. Highlighted it and made it look so natural. She also fixed my highlights and knows how to do the correct color for your skin tone; which I really appreciate. She has extensively gone to numerous trainings all over..to learn the latest tricks n trades of this industry. She loves what she does and it shows. I trust her immensely and highly recommend her! She is the BEST:)
