Horrible customer service from the moment I entered the building. My husband and I were traveling from Arizona back to Illinois and needed to sleep. The representative couldn't find my reservation, which I had to look up on HOTELS.com. It was actually for the following date (but when my husband entered it while searching it was that date...there was a system error and WE WERE CHARGED FOR IT! So over $200 for the room which we didn't say in and had to spend more money for another hotel. I am disgusted with their inhospitality. This is sad because I have stayed with them a few times

Please read reviews prior to booking. I did not and I regret it. Poor customer service. Keys, tv, and plumbing don't work! They don't care or listen when you complain. They cut you off, talk over you, and point fingers. Also belittle you if you use third party booking. Ha!

Hard to feel like a "guest" when you don't have access to the room. Not worth the money. The lodge was way over priced they take advantage of the holidays. Very run down hotel don't go off the professional pictures.

Wanted a relaxing day due to a long drive. It was not. Had to deal with multiple

This resort has mice! I was also injured in this hotel in Oct I have still yet to hear from
Their insurance or ownership! A wood shard impeded my leg just from brushing the wall as I walked by. The front desk staff is awesome as well as the complimentary cocktail.
I think it's given so you'll over look other stuff! I need help! I am still in pain!

We have nothing but good things to say about the hotel and staff. Perry checked us in quickly and efficiently. He was kind and thoughtful. The complimentary beverages... sparkling rose for me, a beer for my partner...were both delicious and local. The bed and room were very comfy. We had our two small dogs with us and we were all well taken care of. It's hard to find a hotel that caters well to adults AND pets but this one seems to care about everyone....2- and 4-legged alike. The view from our room was beautiful... perfect for a drink at night and coffee in the morning.

Santa Fe is a beautiful city and the Lodge provides you with down home hospitality of a fireplace and couches in the lobby when you come in from the cold outside. A really cool spot with the true feeling of what you want in a "Santa Fe" hotel.

Not pretentious or stuffy like the hotels in the Plaza/downtown area but close enough that you can get to shopping and restaurants that make Santa Fe a world class destination.

The only "complaints" I would make are the lack of even a MOTEL breakfast bar and the complimentary microbrew beers were HORRIBLE.

The $25 resort fee is typical

Place is falling apart and no one cares.
Doors, shower, and phone in room did not work reported it and they said “sometimes they work.”
This place is a security risk. Doors do not stay locked at night and anyone can enter through a one of the side entrances.
Pool fire also does not work. There are literally no extras here and what they do have is closed or out of order.
Machine broken in weight room, only have 3 sets of dumbbells.
Front desk staff is slow and rude.
Highly recommend you find another place to stay as you may been walking to the front desk only to be treated poorly and find

SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND DON'T BOOK HERE. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL.

If you have a problem, they will ignore you and not help come up with a solution. Literally disappeared to the back office and left me standing at the desk for about ten minutes. Felt bad for all the new people coming in to check in. Staff is poorly trained in the hospitality industry and their system was not ready for the two busiest weekends in New Mexico.

Booked a two night stay. Arrived later in the evening.

Issue #1 I was waiting in line to check in. This man cut me in line and in a frustrated tone asked

Perry and Karen went out of their way to make sure that we got checked into our room early. We arrived with two very tired little girls who needed their nap before the wedding we were going to attend. They offered our girls sweet treats and water and were very encouraging. Thank you for a great stay!!

This was beyond disappointing. We booked one night originally and then due to a change of plans, we booked a second night and it cost us twice as much just to stay in the same room. On top of that, they charge $25 per night for a "resort fee" but you're hard pressed to find a justification for this. They don't have a restaurant anymore, they don't clean the rooms, they only give you two bottles of water for two nights and two people, they obviously don't maintain their common areas (the carpet is stained and dirty), the fitness room is just a couple of cardio machines

The rooms are minimal. The furniture in our room had a broken door. On the website it's advertising a shuttle to downtown, restaurant and lounge at the property. It was also advertising a $15 daily fee which is $25.There is no housekeeping even when you call down and ask in the morning and they say they will be there. So when you check in be sure and grab extra cups, coffee pods, towels and you will be tucking in your bed because the way they make them the bottom sheet comes out immediately .
I trusted the other traveler reviews. The bar and restaurant is closed and there is no shuttle and

Quiet, clean, well appointed rooms. It was a bit disappointing that the restaurant and bar was closed (because of COVID-19). The location is a drive outside the main downtown Santa Fe area, a shuttle would have been nice as parking downtown can be challenging. But the hotel was well kept, the beds were comfortably overstuffed and the rooms are charming with the Native American decorations. The staff was very professional and very helpful. I read some of the negative reviews after I had booked, but I didn’t experience any of that. Seems like the hotel has taken care of those issues. It is more

This hotel was a SOUTHWEST MOOD!!! Just a short little drive from the Santa Fe action. The pool area was beautiful and could handle lots of people. The kitschy decor was really fun and it was generally a fun place to hang around. My only complaint was that our room and the halls and stairs were not well vacuumed, and I think that is even more noticeable when you have colorful patterned carpet going on. Friendly staff. Slightly pricey for being an older hotel and 1.5 miles from the heart of the city.

So happy I chose this place to stay the staff at the front desk is so helpful and positive! Because the bar and restaurant are still closed due to COVID events each guest receives two beverages of ther choice each day plus unlimited bottled water , a wonderful bonus !,
A special shout out to Aspen who went over and above , and saved me by lending me her iPhone cord when I desperately needed one to charge my entirely dead phone ‍, Everything is clean and well maintained, and there is an accessible hiking trail right behind the building for quick hikes and fabulous views , a bonus if you

Do NOT stay here! I got my room through a package deal on Expedia. Room key would not work on first night due to an 'engineering problem' I was told. I had to wait over 20 minutes to be let into my room and given a new key that worked intermittently. The AC was so loud that they brought a new one in. The new one stopped working all together after a day. The coffee pot did not work either. I asked to be moved to a new room and was told that they were sold out. I contacted the manager and he told me they were 'working on a new room and would contact me when it was ready', I never

Our check-in experience was very poor and set the tone for our stay at The Lodge at Santa Fe. To begin the check in time changed from the time we book the room to the day we got there. They also raised the daily “resort fee” which was not advertised ahead of time.
When we finally reached the new check in time, they did not have the room clean for us and when they went to check on it there were still other guests in that room. They were finally able to get us into a different room. We got to the room and the keys did not work. When we finally got into the new room , it was not cleaned well

BED BUGS & BUG BITES & Dishonest Management
My wife and daughter traveled to Santa Fe for Memorial Day weekend to celebrate my daughter's 14th Birthday. My wife booked a room at "The Lodge at Santa Fe" for a Balcony Sweet - Room 409.
At around 7 pm my wife called me upset because our daughter had found a few bed bugs on the sheets of the king-size bed and did not want to stay there. This was their first outing since the pandemic, and my wife tried to find another hotel in the area, but it was a holiday weekend, and everything was booked. After alerting the front desk to their

I would NOT recommend staying here.

We arrived around 10pm and had to wait about twenty minutes for a clerk to come to the front desk and check us in. We then walked to our room which smelled heavily of cigarette smoke as we entered. We slept through most of the night fine but at roughly 5am the smoke alarm kept going off from someone smoking outside out window. Additionally the hotel is dirty and rundown (stained carpet, no bed skirts, paint chilling off interior room walls, stained fabric chair in room).

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Hotel is dingy, dirty and rooms are nothing like describe. This should fall in the economy category as I've stayed in nicer Motel 6's. Room has no phone if you need front desk. WiFi spotty and slow. Keurig in room did NOT work. Asked if they could replace was told they had no extras. There was no coffee in hotel or restaurants near to get. But since that was part of my resort fee I should have gotten a refund. No fridge or microwave in room. You get 2 mini bottles of water for you stay not per day, but you pay a resort fee per day. Bathroom fits 1 person, tiny

I feel to some extent like I was tricked. When you look at my photos - compare the one I took from their website, which I booked based on to the actual room. The room I had there was no blanket on the bed, no blanket hanging on the wall (though the bar for it was there), no decorative art except two framed photos. The bathroom had a light out, an old ant stuck in the caulking. I guess except for before you check-in there is no housekeeping as after my first night the bed was never made up, trash was not discarded, no new bottled water, no new towels. Also, my room seemed to be in the separate building
