Each hotel room and condo at Del Sol includes an absolute beachfront view and a sea-facing patio or balcony-the perfect place to watch the sunrise and abundant birdlife. If you don't see vacancy in the room type you need, please contact us so we can offer other options at a similar rate. Our front desk staff is available on-site from 8am-8pm daily to assist with your stay; bike, snorkel, kayak, and beach towel rentals are all at the front desk.
Right down the beach from your Akumal accommodations at Del Sol you will find excellent Caribbean, Mexican and international cuisine at La Buena Vida Restaurant and Bar. The restaurant is open for breakfast from December to June, and for lunch and dinner year round, seven days a week. The bar is a vibrant and popular hang-out with friendly staff, sandy floor, swinging bar stools, a crow's nest and laid back, unique tropical atmosphere.
The town of Akumal is located on the Eastern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula on the Caribbean coast of Mexico. It is on Eastern Standard Time, but does not observe daylight savings. It is located about 60 miles south of Cancun, which is easily accessible from the US via several major airlines, including American, Southwest, United, and Frontier.

I went to Akumal for a retreat and to celebrate (big) birthday. The condo is amazing, the view is amazing, and the nearby restaurants and attractions are really great (you thought I was going to say amazing). I will come back here for sure! It was a really nice place to celebrate life. La Buena Vida
