We were really excited for our stay at Longboat Key Club. Unfortunately, 5 days before our trip, my husband

VERY expensive hotel, but nice property and beach
But for $800-2,200 a night in Florida and not even a daily cleaning for your room is just very upsetting.
When you call to request service it rings and rings until you give up and just sleep in a room that costs you 7k+ for the week on dirty sheets. Just a heads up for whoever books here to know what to expect. Reason for this I think is there is no other high end hotel in the area and they can charge crazy pricing for sub par service. ST Regis coming soon a mile away so we’ll see what shakes.
Beautiful property otherwise probably not good

Good things about this resort: The beach was beautiful and the rooms were very well-done.
Bad things: CUSTOMER SERVICE. Y'all, I had to change my own bedsheets twice (had a spill) because they would not send housekeeping at all during our stay. There were DEAD BUGS in the room when we got there. And the staff were all so rude. The bell hop came knocking on our door at 10:45 when check out wasn't until 11:00 (I know that's cutting it close but we had two kids with us and so we were needing every minute to get everything together.) Then, the bell hop was really rude to us then shook his head at

We spent the weekend in the resort with the family (2 adults and 2 children) and loved every moment. The recently remodeled rooms, the powder beach, the food, the drinks :) and, most of all, the staff. In the words of our youngest one: "...everyone is so nice in this hotel, I wouldn't mind moving in here..." We will be back!

It was a wonderful, accommodating experience from the guard at the entrance to Kelly at the pool who helps with towels. You can tell that the management actively trains their associates in leadership and customer service. Everything was clean and well presented. Our room was beautiful. The food and drinks were pricey but amazing. We can't wait to return.

What a beautiful Resort. Gorgeous grounds. You forget about the world when you stay here.
Great family experience.
The ONLY thing we found wrong was they REALLY need ceiling fans in the outdoor breakfast area. It was extremely uncomfortable to have breakfast in the outdoor dining area. A little air movement with Fans would have made a huge difference.

Beautiful room, great beach. Beach loungers were included but had to pay 25$ a day for beach umbrella ( should be included) Not really impressed with the food. Drinks were good, but pricey! Most of the staff friendly. Pool was small, and filled with kids! Requested a wake up call our last morning but did not receive one! Would think twice before coming back!!

LKC is one of my families fave locations. This rating is about the lack of proper and truthful notification w on the amount and extent of on site construction. To encouraging people to come enjoy completed rooms etc. We were very surprised/shocked w the extent of heavy construction on the property. Website doesn't accurately or prominently detail extent of construction. Needs to be a banner for fair notice to loyal customers and public. For instance, main concourse isn't under roof- check in is at golf club. Pool area doesn't have bathrooms (porta-lets are on site. I guess you could

We stayed at this property in April, 2019. Although on a beautiful stretch of beach, the property is in some serious need of updating. Beware if you need to plug in your device chargers, as there are no outlets available in the standard beachfront rooms. And what is plugged in is on overloaded extension cords. Each day, in addition to our room charge there are about $79.32 worth of taxes and fees. Upon arrival our bedding was not clean and asked that it be replaced. We were given damp, almost wet bedding, as they store the clean bedding outside. Our A/C unit was very loud and rattled constantly

WE LOVE LBKC - We were married there 7 years ago and return every summer (now with our kids). The staff is friendly and attentive, the beach is gorgeous and well cared for and the amenities are clean, reliable and relaxing. The new ownership keeps improving the property year over year. The room layout is thoughtful and well designed - feels like home. We also love seeing the same staff members every year. JUNG at the front desk is a warm and welcoming host and always remembers us!

This is one of our favorite places to come with our group. We always get a suite and it's nice to have the full kitchen, washer and dryer and plenty of room. We have a lovely view of the beach from our balcony. Everything is clean and we've had nothing but excellent service all week. It's been great. Can't wait to come back again.

We recently had the opportunity to play LBK Club on a reciprocal. We played both the bay and gulf side courses. Both were in impeccable condition. And, what a treat we had at the turn! We decided a Mai Tai was in order and Nancy cheerfully stepped in to fulfill our order. Fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh pineapple slices, premium rum -- they were delicious! And, we all played better on the back, so go figure?! Thanks Nancy for making our already memorable experience even more memorable!

My sister had her wedding here. I think it all went pretty well and everyone was pleased with the event. I personally enjoyed the food and the atmosphere a lot! We had the rehearsal dinner at the main building (poolside) and it was a great setting. We had very few hotel / villa guests visible, which was pleasant. They really tried to keep the ice cream frozen during speech time, which was thoughtful and appropriate. We had the ceremony and reception at the harbor, which went pretty well. The lawn and room was really ideal for the event, although if the group was any larger we would have
