Jay was the worst landlord I’ve ever had - he made our stay in a home we should have loved a nightmare. We asked questions about why our garage door was broken and had a 30 year old mechanism in place, why a room had dirt marks on the wall and how long it’s been since our fireplace was inspected and each time his response was “there are other places to live if you decide you don’t want to live here anymore.” We were under constant threat of being evicted for asking questions about the home and were always nervous about how our conversations were going to go.
