Services
Elli is an owner of Salt Hair and the heart of the salon. She has been in the Hair industry for over 20 years and Salt Hair is the 3rd Salon she has opened as an owner. Elli loves hikes, warm weather, and spending time with her husband(Jeff) and 5 kids, Grant, Ayda, Emma, Myah, and Greta. Mary-Craig has been doing hair for 2+ years and went through Salt Hair's additional in house training program.

Haven’t had a haircut in over 4 years and I was nervous. We took over 24inches off and I am in love with it.
One of the best cuts I have EVER had.
She listened to what I wanted and made it happen.
I have found my new hair home and can’t wait for my next appointment.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Salt Hair! Everyone is super sweet, nice, and so very friendly! Elli and her entire staff provide superior customer service and amazing communication and response! They fit my daughter in on an emergency last minute situation and we were both extremely blown away at how accommodating and truly wonderful they were with her! The took the time to find out what she wanted and were so welcoming and kind and made her feel right at home! Kaleigh worked her blonding magic and my daughter’s hair looked absolutely gorgeous! I met with Isabella for the first time today for a haircut. Not only did she listen to the style I was looking for but also actively talked through my hair texture, style, and maintenance needs. I felt heard and extremely comfortable the entire time. She makes you feel at ease immediately. I LOVE my haircut and will be going back for cut and color soon (as she also helped me put language to what I want to do color wise based on my maintenance style and hair).

I moved to the Triangle area about a year ago. Tried a few hair salons and was so unhappy with them I thought I was going to have to keep going back to my stylist in Dallas. Then I was referred to Elli at Salt Hair and I'm here to stay. She listened to me, asked a ton of questions, and gave me exactly the color and cut I was hoping for. And she is also the sweetest, nicest person you could ever hope to meet. The salon is very nice and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I've had 2 appointments with her so far, and I look forward to many, many more.

I LOVE my stylist Isabella! She’s super sweet and so talented! Isabella has given me two beautiful balayage ombré services, and both have turned out absolutely gorgeous. I also love that I can trust her with hair cuts- I have trauma from other stylists cutting my hair too short- but Isabella cuts it perfect every time. I’m so happy I decided on this salon.
The salon itself is aesthetically pleasing, clean, and just a super cool atmosphere. The stylists all seem positive and I love how they celebrate each other’s work.

This place is amazing! Elli does a fantastic job every time I have my hair colored and cut! She is always so professional and accommodating with my busy schedule! She has extensive knowledge of the hair care products and styling. If you haven't tried Salt Hair you need to! Just let my before and after photos speak for themselves!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Salt Hair! I have been looking for a salon in Wake Forest ever since moving to the area and I definitely will be back to Salt Hair! The salon was very clean, had beautiful decor and the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Isabella especially was very welcoming with me being a first time client. She took the time to listen to me about what I wanted done to my hair and she surpassed my expectations! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

I was very much in need of a fresh cut with damaged length that I had held onto for years! I am so grateful I chose Elli to do the honors and she certainly did not disappoint. If I could give zero stars I would! I've never had such a horrible experience at a hair salon...EVER! It started with the stylist having a pretty rude bad negative attitude, while I tried multiple times to speak to her or get a conversation going, you know since I'll be in her chair for a couple hours she only responded in 1 word answers and then SILENCE for the remainder of the time. I'm a redhead and I came to have my roots done and the ends freshened up not only did she change my whole color she left a line where the root line was and the rest of my hair. I hadn't gotten my hair done in years. I didn't even fully know what I wanted but Kaleigh found a way to give me exactly what I wanted. The atmosphere was so relaxing and the store was so clean. Salt Hair is officially my new favorite salon! The stylists are all so talented and take such great care of their clients. I've been multiple times, and I've never been happier with my hair and color! The atmosphere and vibe is just so fun, it's so beautiful inside. Everyone there is so friendly and kind. You leave feeling like part of the Salt Hair family! Not only do I love it there, but my 15 year old son and 12 year old daughter loved it too!!! Can't wait to go back!

Allyson went into action, we discussed different lengths, style, then she suggested color with highlights. Got a beautiful cut, then made an appointment with her the next day for color.
She totally nailed it!!!!!! I just love my new style
