Yesterday, I walked in as a new client and was greeted by Jerry. What a wonderful experience. He had so much knowledge of hair and gave me a really good haircut. I love my new haircut and the price was so affordable - I will definitely keep returning to J & J Hair Designs. Just love all the wonderful compliments received after Jerry does our hair cuts.

Once a week I take a spa shower. A spa shower is all about me, not the norm everyday get in get out shower. First take your mind to "me". The hair gets a good shampoo and then carefully remove moisture from the hair, apply conditioner from scalp to ends with your fingers, giving the scalp a massage as you work it through your hair.
Thanks for some of the great comments I have received! First off, I am not claiming to be a chemist (to an extent!). I have been in the hair field for 28 years, so for me it's not only about designing hair but how it works. I research in my spare time and when I am applying color I am thinking about the process that is taking place in the hair shaft.
I don't understand why we all want our hair to look great but maintenance free. I don't mind when clients bring in pictures of haircuts. I do mind when the next comment is "I don't want to have to do anything to it". Hair is like your skin, it must be cleansed not the plop (plop the shampoo on hair and rinse) and adding essential moisture and keratin.
