I booked a suite at the Casablanca for my family to stay in while they visited me. I wanted something central to all the attractions because my nephew and niece aren’t used to walking far especially in the cold. From the moment we arrived the staff was AMAZING. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and show kindness to the kids. The hotel was peaceful and beautiful even though it’s right next to Times Square. The location is a short walk to Grand Central, Bryant Park, Herald Square and a lot more. There is also parking right next door which was really convenient since we were taking

I stayed at one of their sister facilities several years and I was planning to stay there again on my last trip but decided to stay here instead because of its location and it was a tab bit cheaper.

I love the location right next to Times Square and easy access to a number subway lines. Uptown, Downtown, Queens, Bronx, and Brooklyn are all easy to reach from here. It is walking distance to most of the major tourist sites in Midtown.

For a mid-city location, the room and bathroom are a good size. The bed was a full size and is comfortable. My room had a small seating table with 2 chairs and

I had a wonderful 5 nights in NYC on my mother’s bucket list, but for my 50th birthday in June 2019, she decided on the Casablanca through advice from a close friend who had stayed there previously.
(We are from Australia on our way to the U.K, and were extremely lucky to see NYC just before the world turned upside down with the COVID??)
Well that was fabulous advice, we had a thoroughly enjoyable time enjoying the breakfast and wine and cheese in the communal lounge area! We also used these ammenities at other times as there were cold drinks and snacks available 24 hours.
Staff were all extremely

Although the place that this hotel is in is kinda iffy as far as cleanliness goes, the hotel itself was clean. it was a perfect place for just a night but I would definitely not stay there more than that. I felt safe inside the hotel, but not outside especially at night. The rooms are clean, but there were multiple cigarette holes in my blanket. The rooms stayed warm and it was a good experience especially for the price, but I don't think I would go back unless I needed to.

Absolutely wonderful, i took the family in to manhattan to enjoy a couple days with a dinner and a show. location was perfect right in the heart of Times Square. The staff was very friendly and accommodating , the lounge area was perfect for reading and just unwinding after strolling around. We will make this an annual tradition of staying at this hotel whenever we will be catching a show.

The staff here is beyond excellent! I really enjoyed getting to know them and hearing their stories about the hotel over the past year. Rooms were comfortable, had all the amenities that I needed, I really enjoyed the second floor that had coffee, a fridge full of cold drinks, snacks, you name it available 24 hours a day. Extremely close to time square and lots of good restaurants within walking distance

This hotel is the best! The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. There is also a coffee and food bar available for guests, and the rooms are quite spacious for the location (right next to Times Square). Not to mention, the decorations are super cute!

Love this hotel. We stayed one night and will definitely be coming back. Staff is amazingly nice and accommodating. They have a 24 hour snack bar with drinks and coffee. Super cute and old style. Very romantic. Only complaint is TV was a bit small but other than that, definitely one of my favorites. And the location is prime, right near subway and time square.

We needed a room for 4 days. Our reservations was a little complicated. We had a split reservations under different names. We wanted a room that we could stay for the entire vacation. It was difficult to find rooms because we were here during the car show. Camila was working at the front desk and went beyond to help us to stay in the same room for the 4 nights needed. She understood our situation that we had medication that needed to be refrigerated and wasn't possible to change rooms in the middle of the stay. Especially if check out is 11 and check in is 4. What would we do for

We stayed at Casablanca Hotel while we were on an overnight trip to NYC. The reviews on Yelp looked great and they were extremely friendly when I called so I knew this was our best option. It was my 5 year olds first time in NYC and we were taking her to see Lion King on broadway. Casablanca was a 3 minute or less walk from the hotel which was perfect! The staff was so friendly a courteous, the decor fabulous and we really enjoyed the amenities! They had a very cute and relaxing area to sit in where there were books, games, tables, chairs, a TV and a whole array of treats! They offered coffee,

This was our first time to NYC and so glad we went with our stay at the Casablanca hotel. Our great experience started with the reservation manager (Brian C.) who was able to help us with some last minute changes on our reservation and accommodate our party of 3, which initially was a party of 2. Upon our arrival, the entire staff was very friendly and courteous. They all created us as you entered and exited the hotel every single time. They were all super helpful when we asked for recommendations on restaurants or how to get around NYC.

During our last night stay we had to switch rooms because

Never before have I felt this strongly about a hotel experience. From the moment we walked in for our annual NYC trip we felt like we mattered. A lot of time in NYC, you're hurried to your room and the desk staff barely speaks to you. Not this place. They still bring you to your room, carry your bags, show you around the amenities and even asked if we'd like the room temp adjusted.

They told us to head next door to Tony's and even tho I'm usually a Carmine's girl- I decided after some sightseeing with my son we'd give it a shot. We walked in to Tony's and the

This is one of our favorite hotels in New York City. From the moment we entered to the moment we left, it was special. We were greeted by Jeffrey at the front desk as we arrived early and our room was ready.
I'd mentioned that we were celebrating my husband's birthday, and we were pleasantly surprised with a bottle of wine in our room.
They had a lovely wine and cheese spread in the evening and more than adequate breakfast in the morning. Throughout the day, they served coffee, tea, fruit and snacks.
The rooms were comfortable and everything was perfectly clean. The decor was reminiscent

While the hotel decor and ambience was five stars, my overall experience was about 3 stars. Primarily this was because I had a street facing room and was awake all night by the sound of construction trucks working 24/7 right outside my window. Also, since this hotel is located in the heart of Broadway, lights were constantly flashing into the bedroom, even after closing all the blinds. I understand that neither the truck nor the flashing lights had anything to do with the hotel's service, but it did take away from the experience.

Other than that, the service was good. Staff members were

What a find!!! Perfect location for Midtown sightseeing without Midtown madness. Once in the hotel, you wouldn't believe you were only steps away from Times Square. Staff is extremely friendly and our room was very comfortable. Clean and a good amount of space. Bed was extremely comfy. Quiet, quiet, quiet!

A very nice continental breakfast included and snacks available throughout the day. A wonder refuge after a long day of sightseeing.

Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

DO NOT BOOK ON EXPEDIA. Beware of booking right after 12:01 A.M. What kind of system "goes down" for a hour at 3 am? Are you serious? Making people wait an hour to check in for the next day while EXHAUSTED because your computer system is down? Then you have someone that goes to "lunch" and can't refund our Expedia money because you don't know how to operate the computer? What kind of business is this? What a joke. Lol

We just had another amazing stay at the Casablanca Hotel! I honestly cannot say enough good things about this wonderful place. Casablanca is the only hotel that we will stay at when we come to New York City.

The entire staff remembered us from our last stay in January which I thought was incredible. The wine and cheese bar in the afternoon is lovely, the continental breakfast is the best I've ever had in my entire life. The staff is the best part.

A hotel staff can make the difference between a great trip and a bad trip and I can virtually guarantee you that you would not be disappointed

Five stars? FIVE stars? Yelp, you have got to be kidding me.

2.5 stars, ordinarily round up, but rounding down to try and restore some semblance of balance to this yelp page. Also, I want to point out that I lived in NY for years and frequently travel and stay in NY hotels. I know that money doesn't go far, that buildings are old, and that rooms are tiny. I know. Bear with me.

This is a $150 hotel in $250 hotel clothing. Booked this place for a week on the strength of its Yelp reviews. Requested a queen or larger room. Received a double/full bed. I understand that nothing is guaranteed,

Reminds me so much of European boutique hotels. We loved staying here. It's so close to TSQ. It's about 18-20 mins walk to the Empire State Building. Super close to Broadway (we walked from Miss Saigon). The place is super clean. The bathroom is also super clean. The people working here are super helpful and kind.
It was raining during our stay and the hotel provided us with umbrellas. Complimentary robes and slippers in your room Complimentary continental breakfast, water and chocolates... ohhh one more thing there's always snacks at Rick's.

My stay at the Casablanca hotel began with a phone call to fix a reservation that wasn't showing up and speaking with Brig - the night auditor.

I called in the wee hours of the night and Rock and Roll star Brig took care of everything. I knew if he was any indication of the staff at the Casablanca, we'd be in good hands.

When you stay in a boutique hotel you never know what you'll get. This one was lovely and charming with the Bogart movie theme prominent everywhere - the concierge room, even the DO NOT DISTURB placard.

It's small in size - 6 floors with 48 rooms - but that

Normally I am not a big fan of boutique Hotels, however, Casablanca in NYC changed my opinion.

Let me start with the fact that traveling across the Globe is my vice and in last year alone I have been to Hawaii, Fiji, Vienna, London, Munich, Prague, Italy, Las Vegas, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Scottsdale and just back from the French Riviera. With this much travel and being away from home I certainly value great hospitality and Casablanca delivered on and beyond my expectations.

All of our requests prior to check-in were spot on and delivered: fridge in the room, high floor (had room 608), extra
