The Fitness Studio team firmly believes in integrating core training into all methods of conditioning. A metabolic resistance training (MRT) session is comprised of compound exercises with little rest in between the exercises to maximize caloric burn and increase metabolic rate during and after the workout. Metabolic training is a high-intensity anaerobic exercise. The Fitness Studio recommends this type of training for various reasons.

Ok!!!! Gym, workout and training ...happen to be four letter words to me ...I hate the gym .....Most gyms are more a social place than anything else ...But we do need to keep our body's in shape ...I have tried the gym and paid the monthly payment that your lock in to for 12 to 24 months ...for that kind of money why not try a personal trainer for the same money.... I'll get 12 to 24 one hour sessions ...and see a change right away ...So I started the search ....and after four different places ended up at Fitness Studio on Bay Ridge Rd ...both my wife and I started twice a week... we

For many years I had a gym membership at large impersonal place which I visited seldom. Occasionally I would go there for cardio or lift a weight just to reduce my guilt from paying monthly fees. Then I found the Fitness Studio at Annapolis. Not only was the space intimate and personal, so were the trainers. Unlike the old gym, the fitness studio is a "one on one" hour exchange between a professional trainer and you. What began as a once a week session "until I got back into shape" is now a twice a week session for life!
