Moses Rodriguez is the owner and head designer of Moses Jewelers in San Antonio, Texas. He has been in the Stone Oak area for about 12 years. Moses started out as a top salesperson in the pawnshop industry and quickly developed a love for jewelry. While working in jewelry sales in college, his passions began to grow and he decided to devote all his time to learning everything about jewelry.
He rapidly advanced from repairs and sales to custom design. Over the next 4 years, he perfected his trade by completing thousands of repairs and hundreds of custom designs. He opened his first business in 1996 off West Avenue & IH 10 under the name Jeweltex. He completed a high volume of repairs for jewelers all around San Antonio and expanded his design experience.

Once we start the process we can show you other works we've done or look at our galleries, most jewelry in our galleries are custom designed pieces. Diamonds must undergo a strict, unbiased series of evaluations before it can be "certified". These evaluations include - color, clarity, weight, finish and shape. The diamond is rated on these attributes by a certified gemologist that will determine the quality and authenticity of the gemstone. Any flaws are noted and taken into account.

My wife lost a chip diamond out of her wedding band set. She took only the band in for repair. They reset all the diamonds in it, rhodium coated for an unexpectedly fair price. The other ring with the larger stone had become not quite circular and needed resizing. So, i decided to get that one corrected also. My wife has been going here for a number of years, mostly because her mother used to go here. That's a lousy reason for changing from our old jeweler. A few weeks ago, my wife brought in 2 pieces for repair: a cocktail ring and a bracelet. Repairs? Over $800 with tax. My fiancé has family members who frequent this establishment for life milestones (ex. Anniversaries, engagement rings, valentines gifts, etc.) When my fiancé decided to create my engagement ring through this location, I had no idea (obviously). My husband came here for my engagement ring and was able to design a totally custom ring. The craftsmanship and quality of the work is amazing! I ordered my wedding band from another place and it was NOT what I wanted. I brought it to Moses to see what could be done and they knew exactly what I wanted and fixed it for a VERY fair price. I have also taken watches here to be repaired and have batteries replaced. I needed the links out of one and they were kind enough to show me that I was easy to do and did not charge me!

I had an inexpensive earring that held a lot of memories for me that I needed repaired. After reading many reviews, I decided to try Moses Jewelers. I stopped in several days before Christmas and wasn't even sure the earring could be repaired. I told them to take their time as I knew they were probably very busy with the holidays and all. They took the earring in the back, fixed it on the spot and charged me a nominal fee. Needless to say, I was excited and happy to have my earring back good as new in only a matter of minutes. I was very pleased with the service I received. I went to moses jewlers to have my center diamond removed from my old engagement setting and replaced in a different setting. They looked a both rings upfront and and realized a prong was broken on the setting I was changing the diamond to. They also gave me information on the condition of the ring that I had purchased. All the repairs were fairly price and were done extremely quick. Would recommend.

So glad I found Moses Jewelers! We have always been to a well know jeweler for years and they retired recently. My daughter's pearl ring broke away from the prong and I was at a loss on where to go. I went through yelp reviews, visited two other places and wasn't comfortable leaving the ring at either. I walked into Moses and was instantly at ease. Moses did a superb job designing my ring!I brought in my diamond and Moses helped me design a custom setting that blew me away. He was patient, thorough, and most of all, very fair and honest. The quality and phenomenal craftsmanship of his work (and his equally gifted son, Joey) definitely stands out. He also has a wide variety of fine jewelry to choose from. I could not be happier with my experience at Moses Jewelers. I wanted to redesign my wedding rings to incorporate some gold from my mother’s old wedding ring and some diamond earrings my grandmother gave me. AWESOME service!! I brought a piece in needing it sized, it was done in 24 hours and fir a WONDERFUL price too. Joey was very nice and made me feel like he cared about doing a good job. I came here wanting to reset my grandmother's diamond ring in a whole new, more wearable for everyday type-design, while also re-using the gold in the new ring, to preserve the sentimental value of it.
I was helped by Cynthia when I walked in, and I was able to speak to Joey, the designer, about what I wanted and also showed him pictures of what I had in mind. They gave me an estimate, and also said if I was looking for something in a different price range, they could definitely accommodate that.
