We are sisters who have loved jewelry since we were little girls playing in our grandmother's jewelry box. We believe that the most wonderful thing about jewelry is that it's personal to you, it becomes part of your life and your life story. Diamonds are cut in a variety of shapes, such as round, pear, or rectangular. I've purchased items from both within the store in NYC as well as online. Both times, the experience was excellent. I really love their inventory of vintage jewelry. I've found the selection to be unique and interesting. I definitely plan to shop here again, most likely online as I live in the Bay Area, but if I'm in NYC, I'll visit the store.

I got lucky and stumbled upon D&D early on in my search for an engagement ring. Like other reviewers, I initially assumed it might be much to expensive for me but I ended up with a wonderful custom ring that was well within my budget. I know very little about jewelry and all the associated terminology but being guided by D&D's Catherine DeGraw & Darren was unbelievably helpful, both before & after purchase.
The store is extremely nice and all the jewelry is wonderfully displayed & lighted. Nice mix of vintage & new pieces (which can also be customized).

I was very excited to visit this pretty little store. I bought three pieces of vintage Picasso jewelry from them, so I was more then ready to be wowed!
I wasn't wowed at all. This is a fairly pretentious store. There aren't counters but rather glass enclosed displays on the walls. It's hard to look at everything and there is really not much to see.
They graciously offered us water and this was nice for my son to sit down and relax for a few minutes. It doesn't take long to see the displays. There are some nice pieces but nothing I went crazy over. It's funny because I

Going to Doyle & Doyle is like falling into a treasure chest. The antique pieces are beautiful and well cared for, and there's such a vast selection of jewelry, I once spent an entire afternoon perusing... which takes me to my next comment.

I asked my bestie, brother Francis if he'd be my date to Doyle & Doyle. I hadn't been since I lived there (before they moved), I was really looking forward to this being my one gem-stop during this trip. You know how it goes, family and friends--it's hard to fit it all in. .

A representative from Doyle & Doyle reached out to me after I posted my previous review and I had the opportunity to send them my ring. Doyle & Doyle took the time and replaced the pearls that were falling out and they placed poxy glue to below the pearls to make sure they are secure. The representative, Erica, was a joy to deal with and she kept me up to date with anything that was going on regarding it. It's only been a week, but I've been wearing my ring everyday and so far, the pearls have not fallen out. I have my fingers crossed that the pearls stay in because I really love

Not only is my 1929 Art Deco engagement ring absolutely stunning, but the service that my MoH and I received when we went back to inquire about sizing and wedding bands was superb.
After a quick online search for other NYC vintage/antique-jewelers that carried wedding bands, I now know that I will definitely be returning to Doyle & Doyle. Even if not for the specific ring I found yesterday, I can tell that their selection, and even their prices, are hard to match.

Fabulous service and very friendly and helpful sales associate, Jessica. We were greeted by her and she helped us through the process of finding the most suitable bands for us.
They don't really have a lot of big and gorgeous engagement rings. Their strong suit is idefinitely the estate and antique pieces. The price is good and you can definitely see some unusual pieces.
