Our compassionate staff delivers high-quality dental care in a relaxed atmosphere. Everything about our practice is designed to create a comfortable dental experience for your child. We have game systems in the waiting room, flat screen ceiling mounted televisions in each treatment room, and iPads at each chair.
Clean the area of the affected tooth. Rinse the mouth thoroughly with warm water or use dental floss to dislodge any food that may be impacted. If the pain still exists, contact your child's dentist. Do not place aspirin or heat on the gum or on the aching tooth. If the face is swollen, apply cold compresses and contact your dentist immediately.

Going to the dentist has become exciting and something to look forward to, for my 3 boys. Dr. Tim and his caring staff does an amazing job at learning about each of them as individuals and communicating with them in ways they understand. We love Pediatric Dentistry of Shelbyville. I highly recommend them to anyone with children.

I took my 4 month old daughter here to have her lip and tongue tie released. The staff was super nice and so comforting. It was quick and Dr. Kirby showed me how to do the stretches. I’m so glad I chose this place. Plus they have a c02 laser which is less painful on the babes. The follow up was wonderful. 10/10

Dr. Kirby first did an evaluation for tongue and lip tie and determined my son needed a revision. After taking his medical history, she made a plan that was the best option to avoid any issues. I had a couple of questions for her after evaluation in which she personally returned my call and was incredibly kind. My son’s revision went perfectly and we returned this month for his first tooth cleaning. We live almost an hour away, but will continue to use Dr. Kirby for our son’s dentistry needs.

I appreciate the positive atmosphere and customer service we receive from ALL the staff. Dr. Kirby is our first choice. My children even laugh as they’re getting their teeth cleaned and don’t even mind the x-rays. What uncertainties they’ve had are quickly relieved by the awesome dental hygienists. I appreciate how thorough, yet efficient they are.
My youngest’s tongue tie revision was so incredibly well done and I’m grateful for the care he received from Dr. Kirby with that.
