As I have just stopped services there I feel safe to leave my review: this place has extremely shady practices as well as poor front facing staff - I have gone multiple times struggling to get refills for medicine due to them redirecting or not answering period. I have also had two different experiences where I have been within the office and they didn't tell me about a bill that was needed to be paid until it was a "final notice" once for 270 and again recently, which the billing statement received was inaccurate which makes me believe there are worse practices going on within the billing

I use to really like Phenix Rising until these last few years I take Zyprexa and Klonopin I went on a vacation to Illinois and forgot my medicine when my case worker called my doctor to tell her that I have lost my medicine she instantly said He's benzo shopping I was very sick over the weekend and I needed my medicine thankfully my primary doctor bridged my medicine until I got my refill and in fact he took over my medicine because Phenix Rising wanted to start tapering me off my medicine I was a client of Phenix Rising since 2017 and I'm done and never going back

I had a terrible experience here I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The psychiatrist I saw was not very friendly &made me feel really uncomfortable. I was persistent about not wanting to take antidepressants because of past experiences with them but she kept insisting thats what I needed to do, regardless of how I felt. When I left my last appointment I did not make a follow up appointment like she said to because I did not plan on ever coming back. I get a call about a month later saying that I missed my appointment? I never made a follow up appointment?? I still get letters to this

My son and I both reiceve services here. My son sees the Dr Haymaker. She is beyond phenomenal with my son. Always extends a hand..checks on him when change in meds. Shes very informative on side effects & what the meds are for.
She has always given constructive criticism to my son. I would highly HIGHLY recommend her for any juvenile.
Now I only gave 4 stars due to my experience here.
I see a NP that works under a psychiatrist. Thats what im told.

So I started going here about a month or two ago. My first visit I was left in the waiting room for literally 2 hours. When someone finally came to get me they said they were sorry and they forgot about me. I thought to myself ok I really need help so I will let it go for now. They set me up with a counselor who performs EMDR therapy which is therapy to help you not relive a traumatic experience which was what I was going through. While I liked my counselor I had been going to him for about a month and we still didn’t really start the therapy and then he got a new job and left. So he set me up

Dr. Stephen A. Miller was absolutely unprofessional and rude. He interrupted me during my introduction phone visit and refused to help me during a stressful time. Went on to fib about medications that I was educated that should not be cut off cold turkey. What really disappointed me was that I was polite and did not get angry with him, yet I was firm to seek help and he went on to hang up on me. Do not see this Doctor if you are seeking treatment. Tried calling to complain about the copay considering he refused to treat a patient and they have not answered my voicemails or calls. Poorly ran facility

I've been with my oldest daughter for help when was around with me and now I am coming here with my oldest son. As my oldest son is coming here to seek help with his behavior some, the doctor can not even be on time for the appointment scheduled and yet says she wants feed back from both of us parents. But only takes one parent back. My thing is how do you say you want feedback from both parents and only take one as both parents are here, how can you schedule a appointment and not even be on time for it and etc. I am curious if anyone else has dealt with anything similar. After months of waiting for a med appointment, I was incredibly disappointed with the treatment I received. It took the doctor all but 30 seconds to decide she didn't care what I had to say. I was very adamant about not wanting to take an antidepressant, because of my previous experiences with them and the fact that they cause me to have suicidal thoughts. Not only was the doctor rude, and condescending, but she treated me as if I was a drug seeking criminal. She acted as if I have no reason to have anxiety in the first place, and disregarded my wishes to not be prescribed an antidepressant. She

Amazing facility. Top of the line counselors and doctors. The most organized office I've ever seen. Great place for both kids and adults. Every one deserves great mental health care and this place goes beyond that. No matter if you want to talk or want to express yourself through music, they have something for you and everything in between.

Horrible, horrible practice and doctors. Myself, my husband, and 2 of my children came here at one point or another. One of their "psychiatrists" treated both myself and my husband. She treated me with a large cocktail of medications for illnesses I later found out I never had, and learned to deal with what I did naturally and with a GOOD therapist, while she was treating me with 700 medications and switching them almost monthly I gained over 80 lbs which I lost, thank goodness. But, she never noticed my massive weight gain because she could never remember me, spent half my appointment reading
