Their services bumps them to five stars all the way. Was looking for a place to eat after the French Market closed and they kindly offered to make something for me.

I had their beef bahn mi which in cold, rainy weather really hit the spot. Beef was juicy and well seasoned and bahn mi generously filled with jalapeño, carrots (insert bahn mi fillings).

Not sure why all the negative reviews but this place was a five in terms of flavor, price and service. Excited to try their pho next!!

Not really sure why so many bad reviews, but visited this French market location and thought the Banh Mis were really great! Large portions and the sandwiches I got were super tender and flavorful. The worker was friendly and respectful of my time. Would recommend this place as they're pretty generous with the amount of meat in each sandwich and the food tastes pretty fresh.

This is just about their service -- they forgot half of our to-go order and when I called them about it they were making excuses instead of refunding us for what we didn't get.

After a busy morning in the Loop with a few minutes before our Metra out we stopped here to grab some sandwiches to go.

Picked up the Porky which was full of pork belly. Delicious! Great bread.

Quick and friendly service

Terrible food and too overpriced for what you're getting, and owner is a major creep. I don't recommend this place at all.

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat before my train home. Woman taking my order was very friendly and welcoming. Ordered the vermicelli salad with teriyaki tofu and it was delicious! It had very large pieces of tofu that were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious! Would definitely recommend this for a quick, fresh bite to eat!

I love getting Banh Mi from Saigon Sisters, they are fresh, delicious, and relatively affordable considering where you are purchasing it (The French Market in the city).

I became infatuated with Bahn Mi several years ago, and unfortunately there aren't any places that I have found near me. More than once I have asked my partner to pick me up a couple on the way home from the city. They travel well, and have been just as delicious when they arrived home as they have been when I have gotten them fresh from the market.

The search continues for Banh Mi near me.

Tried the rice vermicelli noodles with tofu. The tofu was good however the salad had little lettuce and little noodles. Too many pickled vegetables which over powered the salad. Nuoc Cham dressing was decent. The shrimp chips were good but the spice they put on was very spicy.

Bought the lemongrass curry chicken sandwich from the location at the French Market in the Ogilvie Transportation center. Decent sized sandwich, priced a little higher bc its in the french market, would probably be a couple bucks less at a regular storefront. Overall, food sandwiches!

Wasn't impressed. The bao bread was cut in half like a sandwich...not served like it was taco bread. Something smelled weird in the food. I understand some of the vegetables are fermented, but this smell was more like something was rotten. Also, the Vietnamese iced coffee i ordered with ice tasted fine, except the cup was not filled to the top. There was about a 1/2 inch that needed to be topped off. For $3.50, I thought I would receive a full cup. This place seems too cheap for me to return. Not worth the money spent.

Very underwhelming pho. The flavor seems a little bit off and not as full as I would like. Meat was ok, a little tough. For some reason in my bowl the noodle to soup ratio also seemed quite a bit off and I got a lot more soup than noodle (I like soup but compared to other pho places it was a substantial difference). Was really craving pho and was quite disappointed.

Hoisin glazed pork belly baos is all I have to say. They are amazing!!!! The best thing on the menu in my opinion. I always get 3 for $10.75 for lunch and they are the perfect amount so that you're not too full. I grew up eating my mom's homemade baos so I was so excited to have found a place that makes them just as good! Not sure how the banh mi sandwiches here are because I haven't tried them yet. I have my favorite banh mi place which I am loyal to and won't go anywhere else, but maybe I'll give this place a try!

If you're looking for a tasty "lighter" lunch, check them out. The classic Banh Mi sandwich will satisfy your banh mi cravings. Good meat, pickled veggies are good, and the bread is nice and fresh.

Such hate...maybe I'm wrong but I love this place!

The curry chicken banh mi is a staple for me. Good bread, perfect balance of veggies/chicken/mayo. I've tried the bowls and enjoyed them, but I stick with the banh mis.

Counter Service.

Delicious, fresh, original SPICY SHRIMP CRACKER. Addictive. Tastier than Others or what we are used to.

Impressive amount of pork in PORKY BAHN MI. A definite satisfying meal for less than $10. The lesser priced Bahn Mi's only have 1/4 of meat and you have to travel far.

The only WAGYU BEEF option in Chicago! Tender. Prepared well.

The STIR FRY NOODLES were okay -- flavor can get monotonous without the jalapeños. Balance amount of ingredients. Add-ins can get expensive.

We were in the French Market and this was one of the places that I've been wanting to try for a while. We got the Porky (Pork Belly Banh Mi). It was a good size and under $10 so not a bad value. I'm sure you could probably get cheaper Banh Mi's elsewhere in the city though. The sandwich itself had relatively good flavors but was unlike other, more traditional Banh Mi's I've had in the past. It was also very saucy.

The reason for the two star review is that the smell of the sandwich was very off putting. I actually couldn't finish it all because it smelled so weird

There's cheaper and more delicious pho further north, but for a quick fix this will do. I thought the broth was a little bland, and it got cold too quickly. The noodles were also a little hard. The meat and meatballs were really good though!

Meh sandwich, meh service.
Got the classic banh mí, was not impressed, especially for $8. Very cold attitude from the two women working at the cash register. The guy who made and handed me my sandwich at least gave me a smile.
I can get better banh mí anywhere else in the city thats cheaper and better. The french market has a lot of other options, chose those.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while. Random thought: Yelp should send out notification reminders for the places you bookmark. Like, "HEY! You said you were going here and it's been like 3 years and you haven't yet so go already!"

I succumbed to impulse food buying, I won't deny it. I was walking around in the French Market around 3:20ish on a Wednesday and was just amazed that it was completely empty. If you've been here in the morning or around lunch time you know it gets so incredibly packed that there's hardly any room to stand in, much

Due to downtown Chicago location, I've had to lower my expectations, so give them an extra star for providing a Viet option where ethnic options are scarce.

The sandwiches and pho are good and satisfying of my cravings of both. Not the best though, can't beat places on Argyle. The prices are a little steep but they're paying for premium real estate so I understand.

Their fresh spring rolls are good. I thought their rice bowls were bland. I'd stick with the bahn mi and pho.
