We used BOKA Catering Group for our wedding reception dinner! We did a tasting and booked back in 2019 and finally had our reception in Nov 2021. Throughout the entire process (and due to the pandemic), we worked with several managers, but the transition between them was seamless. Helen was especially patient and lovely to work with! Boka catered our daughter's wedding reception and it was an incredibly positive experience. The food was delicious, there was plenty of it and the serving staff could not have been friendlier and attentive. We received so many compliments from our guests about the food and the service. We are so glad we chose Boka Catering for our wedding. All our guests raved about the food and the bartenders and servers were all great. Makayla from the Boka team is incredible- super organized, responsive and overall such a professional. I didn't have a planner and she went above and beyond dealing with logistics for me, like coordinating linen delivery and returns with a third party vendor. I also heard one of the bartenders kept a special bottle of scotch for my dad who is picky about his liquor and always had the next drink ready for him- so thoughtful!!

Boka Carering Group was so easy to work with, flexible, and experienced. Organizing the event was stress free while working with Makayla. She was patient with me as we went back and forth to get every detail of the food and timeline right. On the day of our event, the whole entire team showed up on time, they were extremely friendly and professional. Everything was taken care of (plates, napkins, clean-up, food service). This is probably one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve had trying to hire a caterer. Makayla can’t manage to answer an email to save her life. I’m waiting over a week for simple questions to be answered and have yet to see a proposal. When I sent a double email her response was “I’m in and out of the office, I’ll email you next week”. I’m not sure in what world a “catering manager” can tell a potential client that she’s in and out of the office, as if that is my problem. In any industry a client shouldn’t wait over a week for a simple request. If she can’t answer

We hired Boka for our wedding that we had originally planned for May 2020. By late March, it was clear that our original date was no longer viable. Boka graciously let us move our date with no pushback or issues. They treated us with the utmost kindness and professionalism through all the many changes we had to make due to COVID and all its related restrictions. From a guest count of 90 down to 50 and then 24 at the last minute (about one week out!), they worked with us every step of the way.

Boka did an amazing job for our August 2020 wedding at Chicago Illuminating Company. This was not our original plan or venue, but Boka helped us pull off a beautiful event that was very Covid-friendly. They were very cautious about safety protocols, and at the same time provided outstanding service and delicious food and drinks. Wow!!! Not only does the Boka Catering Group create a memorable experience, but the food is obviously outstanding. My husband and I hosted an 18 person dinner in our home (back in February), a welcome event for his new colleagues and the service was perfect, the food warm and delicious. And Boka put this all together with literally 5 days notice! Communication is by far their strong suit, they are professional and super fun! Most importantly they worked within our budget and still put together an outstanding evening.

I have worked with BOKA as a wedding planner on a few instances and always have a wonderful experience. They are a highly sought-after catering group with a sales team that is always so helpful and available to answer tons of questions throughout the planning process. On event days, the whole team is efficient, professional & the food is so delicious. My husband and I hired Boka Catering for our wedding at Chicago Illuminating Company. I cannot recommend them enough. Chef Giuseppe and Jamison were so easy to work with. My husband and I requested customized appetizers that were stylishly presented but also delicious. In the beginning, I was wary that Boka wouldn't be open to some of my creative ideas for a cocktail hour but I was wrong. I was blown away at our tasting and everything looked beautiful as well as tasted absolutely delicious. We chose Boka as the caterer for our wedding at The Joinery, and it was the best decision we ever made! Megan was super helpful and responsive with each and every question we had (and we had a lot). She was patient, and even provided us with recommendations on decor that would work well in the space, even though that wasn't even in her scope. The planning and logistics were a breeze.

Boka was SOO great to work with! My company hosted a last minute event for 400-500 people at Morgan's on Fulton. They sent us a list of "preferred vendors" and Boka was one of them. After speaking with a couple local caterers, we found that Boka had the best selection of food & beverage, was the easiest to communicate with and the most fair!

Boka Catering did an exceptional job for our wedding this past May. Our venue, The Ivy Room, requires that you choose a caterer from their 'preferred' list and luckily for us, Boka was one of them.
