Services
Village Realty is privately owned and operated. We have been in business since 1969. We began building apartments in the Dallastown/Red Lion area and have continued to grow by purchasing apartment communities that reflect our standard for quality throughout York County to include Manchester, East York, and Shrewsbury.
Each adult that plans to live at the rental will need to complete a separate application, regardless of whether or not their name will be on the lease. If you don't have access to a printer, you are more than welcome to stop by our office between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday through Friday, and we would be happy to provide you with an application there.

I have been renting from Village Realty since September 2021, and I recently had my cousin over for a few days which has seizures periodically, so her health care provider prescribed her a service dog (which I have documentation on). Pennsylvania law makes it a summary offense for a public accommodation's owner, manager, or employee to deny access to the accommodation or its benefits to any person who uses a "guide, signal or service dog or other aid animal that has been certified by a recognized authority to assist a person. The federal Fair Housing Act requires landlords and housing facilities

I called to ask about an apartment told me it was taken then it wasn’t. And I asked if anything else was available not until August. Found this place on Facebook. And all the apartment manager wants to do is argue and compare my generation to hers off of social media. Well I’m not the one who posted the AD on Facebook you guys did. I really liked how the complex looked. But, the management needs to change her attitude. And be more professional. Never wanted to argue but she’s blaming me saying I’m arguing? How when I never got the application or an email response back when I sent over the

Moved to silver spur drive apartments with my girlfriend and 2 kids and thought we were getting a really nice place and great deal. We came to find out that there were repairs that needed to be done to the apartment that was never fixed when we were told it would be. There was a MOLD problem we were never informed of and when we found it and mentioned it nothing was done about it, they tried to say it was our problem. We opted to move out as our children developed a cough (from the MOLD). We had vacated the apartment for a few days to make arrangements on our leaving and when we returned we found

Quite possibly one of the worst property management I have ever dealt with. My family had rented a 3 bedroom apartment from Village Realty, and they were priced fairly. We actually lived here for almost a decade. Within that very lengthy timespan, we had many, many issues with management. They were always unresponsive to maintenance requests, and when they did come to fix anything, blame was always pinned on us. It got to a point where we were actually afraid to call for maintenance or report any issues to management in fear of retaliation. We resorted to using our own funds, and decided to repaint

RUN! Do NOT rent from this company! This is the absolute worst experience I've had from any rental agency. When I initially submitted my application, I was given a hard time about an apartment I rented 12 yrs ago because the property management changed & they couldn't obtain references. Keep in mind I had subsequently rented another apartment in the same community under the new management & they were able to obtain references from that tenancy. I also rented another apartment after that which was also verified. Both management companies confirmed I left in good standing and paid my rent on time

The apartment we were shown was outdated. For the amount of money this place is asking for, one would expect that the carpet would at least look decent. It was worn and looked like it has not been replaced in years. When asked if it would be replaced, we were told that the carpet had been replaced recently, it was clear that this was not true. After reading reviews of how this company conducts business, we've decided to rent elsewhere. Not willing to take a chance on becoming the next victim.

Decent apartments and staff was friendly but be careful with your security deposit. I rented from Village Realty for a year, paid my rent on time each time, did not smoke inside or out of the apartment, and had an ok experience. I wanted something simple and cheap, which is what I got. The appliances and cabinets were all visibly old and somewhat worn but I wasn't upset because my rent was cheap. On the rare occasions I interacted with staff they were friendly and professional and when I needed maintenance it was done in a timely manner. Biggest issue was their lack of timeliness with snow removal

I rented at Cape Horn Villas from June 2017 to October 2019. I had a pleasurable experience renting from them during that time. Anything needing fixed/repaired was done so within 24 hours. No issues with the office staff. They all seemed nice and pleasant to deal with.
Although the appliances are a bit dated, but they worked. And for the great rent fee, I'm not complaining, one bit - for my 3 bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths, and a 1-car garage for $1035/month in 2017 was unbeatable. the rent went up $50 to $1085 for 2018 and no raise in 2019. Trash fee of $50/month is included in the rental fee. All in

We lived in the Shrewsbury Village Apartments for 2 years and honestly could not have been more pleased with the experience. The apartments are simple but cozy, with a beautiful large window that provides a gorgeous view of the surrounding landscape. Shrewsbury itself is the most wonderful, peaceful, stunning place that we have ever lived, and these apartments are nestled right in the heart of all of the beauty and simplicity. A short walk up the street will lead you to the most perfect view that you have ever seen, but almost anywhere you drive, walk, run, or bike outside, you will find equally

Here is my 100% unbiased opinion:
My husband and I rented our first apartment from Village Realty’s Country Village. We never had issues with the office staff during our time there. The apartment was sufficient for what we paid and we were surprised we got two bedrooms for the price we did, since most companies wanted to charge more for one bedroom than we were paying for two.
I had little interaction with the office staff during my time there because I’m not a complainer and there was nothing wrong with the apartment. When it came time to move, they did a very good job of calling me to let
