This place is pretty good. Great tacos for competitive prices. I recently had breakfast tacos and was pretty satisfied with them. My only complaint is that the woman who brought my order out handed it to someone else who started to dig in the bag. When I informed them that it was my order, she took it and handed it to me. Didn't really feel like such a safe practice considering COVID is still an issue. But mistakes happen I suppose.

The food was cold. My notes to separate everything wasn't fulfilled leaving me with a very soggy taco bowl. The chicken wasn't fresh at all and very hard and dry. I didn't enjoy my meal at all compared to the other 2 times I ordered here. Im not sure if it's because i was the last order of the evening but im very unhappy with what I received.

Stumbled into this place on a whim and did not disappoint!!! A couple chori-papa tacos and some topo chicos for under $15?!? Get outta here!!! Solid food, great salsas. Cannot wait to come back to try more!

Everytime I am craving for a taquito Luchi & Joey’s is the option. If it’s early I can have the Breakfast tacos. If the weather is chilly I order the Tortilla Soup. If I have visitors at home I order the Street Tacos Taco Kit. If I want a light lunch I can have La Flaca Salad. For dinner my favorite is the Alambre Taco but some times I prefer sea food and I order the Baja Taco. And always always I ask for corn tortillas because you receive 2 tortillas instead of 1, and convert them in two taquitos 😊🌮🥗🌮.

Shrimp taco was delicious
Salmon taco was dry
They should add a sauce to that taco
Salsa is disgusting I had to add salt

The food has no flavor. I had 3 different tacos and chips and queso and they all were flavorless. I wouldn't recommend

Went in yesterday morning and ordered a potato and egg and a chorizo and egg breakfast taco. They were both fairly bland and the tortillas seem like they were purchased from a grocery store. I'll try a few more things and update my review but my first impression is not a very good one.

TACO TUESDAY! My favorite item on the menu of Luchi and Joey's is the Street Taco Plate. Five beautiful and savory beef taquitos on corn tortillas with onions, cilantro and the option of adding some piña = five slices of heaven. The corn tortillas are always perfect with the right amount of soft and moist and never ever dry, stale or rough. The beef and onions are grilled to perfection and the whole combo just has a good, hearty mouthfeel with every bite. Instant happiness! #tacotuesday

My favorite taco place in Houston!! Always fresh and tasty. Everything I've had here is great. Plus the staff are very friendly

Cool taco shop. I ordered 3 breakfast tacos. Friendly staff. Rating it 3 stars though because the flour tortilla taste like cardboard. If they were to change their tortillas I would give them a 5 star rating. I wish they offered homemade tortillas.

The Vallarta fish taco is beyond cravable. Wait time will be between 10-25 minutes but you will receive hot, fresh, delicious tacos with great customer service at the counter.

You have also got to get the green sauce for your food. Great flavor and a little heat to it. They serve it on the side so make sure you ask for extra and you can control how little or a lot in my case!

So I randomly went there, and best decision for the week! I ordered the shrimp Acapulco salad and the ingredients were fresh and yummy! 5 Stars for the freshness, the taste, aesthetic of the place and food. The dish had fresh avocados, cheese, and mango slices. The staff was super friendly! They have candy and a few other cute stuff to shop. 5/5 for any meal.

I was promised more than Tex and more than Mex, the food did not deliver. We ordered 4 street style tacos, 3 of the fish/shrimp tacos, chips with salsa and guacamole.

The meat had very average flavors. My wife's shrimp taco was full of pork meat juices (she is pescatarian). The guacamole was literally mashed avocados with nothing in it (onions/cilantros/lime).

12 bucks for a torta sandwich, a drink and no chips or salsa. The AC is broken. Dont do it.

Stopped in for lunch today and the space is nice and bright and very clean. There is a line along the wall so you can look at the menu while you wait to place your order. I was a bit annoyed for my first impression because I was waiting in line and a man walked in and walked right to the register and instead of enforcing where the line was the gentleman at the register was going to help him

So I stood there kind of annoyed, grabbed my food and headed back to work. Well I was pleasantly surprised because my fiesta bowl was delicious! It had just the right amount of toppings and was hot and fresh

I was very impressed... It's a small eatery with excellent Mexican food.. You have to stop by and give this place a try.. I know I will be going back. Well until next time signing off Two Peas.

I had the pulled pork and the gringas tacos. Came in right before close and they still made the food even though it was past close. They have great sauces, tons of options for tacos, and other menu items such as tortas and nachos. They even have breakfast tacos which I’ll have to come back and get. Will be back for sure

Got 2 tacos my lady got a bowl the guacamole tasted like you were eating a lime, the chicken is was rubbery and precooked . Absolutely horrible $40 later. We headed to torchy's!

Have been here a couple times for lunch and have enjoyed the food. Quick counter service and variety of tacos, tortas, nachos, and so much more.

Recently had the El Jefe and Gringas tacos. Both the corn and flour tortillas were soft, warm and tasted so fresh. The tacos were loaded up and bursting with flavor.

Make sure to help yourself to the many sauces in the small fridge near the utensils and napkin area. I couldn't get enough of the mild green tomatillo sauce!

Recommended by my coworker to check out this taco joint. I like it so far the 2 times I have been here I've gotten the same thing lmao. My coworkers has gotten taco and it seems to look tasty!

Gives u the Tex Mex vibe similar to torches concept. They have the salsa in a fridge just grab and go to your table or they have lids and and container for Togo.

Mix beef and chicken nachos 4/5 can't go wrong with that right
Will defined try something diff the next time I am here.
