Camarillo Healthcare Center is a modern, state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility, located in the heart of the historic city of Camarillo, California. We are just east of the Camarillo Outlet Mall, 1-block south of Ventura Blvd. We feature 114 beds and beautiful spacious rooms in either private or semi-private settings.

I’ve never stayed at this facility or had any family member here. However, from my experience with a passenger I picked up through Uber as I am a driver, they were very unprepared in discharging the patient and were blaming the patient for the workers inability to confirm the patient received his medication and paperwork before discharging him to wait outside.
Someone who is elderly or require nursing care cannot fully look out for themselves and the people work here, some not all, clearly fail to realize all the roles they need to contribute to working here.
I noticed these employs lack responsibility

Based on my own experience staying with you your efficiency rating is poor. Hugh amount of wasted time walking from nursing stations to a room to find out what the patient needs when this can and should be done on speakers. The coordination of multitasking could be simplified saving a lot of wasted time and effort benefiting the patient the workers and the corporate bottom line. Very happy with the care and attention my mom receives and more important, she's very happy with it! If ever there is a concern, I get in touch with the department that would handle it, they address it and it is always handled to my satisfaction immediately. They are very responsive! I make contact with my mom or an activities gal at least a couple times a week to see how she's doing. Thank you all at Camarillo Healthcare Center!

About 7 months ago, I wrote a review regarding my uncle’s brief stay at Camarillo Healthcare before he passed away from cardiac arrest at the age of 93-1/2 years of age. I just wanted to add that my uncle was a WW II veteran who fought in the war overseas. He told me that the entire Camarillo Healthcare staff were always attentive. My uncle told me that he was always treated with respect and noticed all other patients were treated respectfully by the staff. So, I want to say thank you to everyone for taking good care of my uncle, treating him and others with respect, and sending me an unexpected

Bad place for elderly people especially those who are suffering from confusion/hallucination/dymentia. My mom fell from bed and they didn't even notify us, worst, they even tried to cover up for it saying that they didn't know why my mom was in pain. Only when we brought her to the hospital that we learned that she had fracture on her right hip that needed a surgery, bruise on her head and bruises on her right arm. To think the night before we left, my brother together with his family asked the attending nurse to watch over her and also I, before I left the facility, asked the attending nurse to

Horrible, my mom was here for a broken hip, day 10 she fell at midnight, they did not call a doctor for SEVEN hours. Put her on a mattress on the floor. She broke her other hip. She’s on hospice now. The facility replied to my last post saying “thank you for your post, call us to let us know how we can improve”. What a joke, they would not talk to me but were cited by public health for not calling a doctor. They are unprofessional and negligent.

This place gives nursing homes the bad reputation that so many have. It is disgusting filthy, extremely unprofessional staff and a very scary place for a senior to be left in. After my stay, I completely understand why some elderly people "fall through the cracks" and die, if they don't have family and friends checking on them on a regular basis. I wouldn't wish my biggest enemy to be in this terrible place.
