A combination of veterinary medicine, veterinary forensics, animal care and the practices used in organized crimes against animals such as dogfighting and cockfighting as well as other abuses are apparent in successfully pursuing animal cruelty cases.We will have this service available to assist prosecutors in their efforts to prosecute these crimes.

Sometimes hospitalization is inevitable. And for those times when you need to hospitalize your pet, we are ready. Our hospital is complete with heart-worm treatments, IV fluid pumps, continuous monitoring, sanitary rooms, and trained staff with an isolation room to keep contagious diseases separate from the rest of the hospital so your pet can recover in quiet.
We have a full in house lab to run tests with results usually in 10 minutes. We can check liver, kidney and for diabetes as well as infections, anemia, electrolyte imbalances and other diseases. We also do urinanalysis, fecals for intestinal parasites, skin, ear and fecal cytology, feline leukemia, FIV and heart worm tests.
All pets should wear collar tags imprinted with their name and the phone number of their pet parent, but only a microchip provides permanent ID that cannot fall off, be removed, or become impossible to read. We offer microchipping so if your pet becomes lost, they stand the best chance of being found.

I am only giving 1 star because I have to give a rating otherwise it would be No stars!They wouldn't make an appointment for my dying cat to put her to sleep because she wasn't in their system. They said they could see her in 1 week. We had her to them many years ago and she never had health issues and she was an indoor cat for 19 years. So unless you take your pet there for all kinds of bloodwork, meds and buy food your pet won't eat, as was the case with her 2 sisters we had, you can forget them putting your beloved pet out of their pain. No pet should ever suffer just because they aren't in

Happy with this vet and all other staff! They are good with cats and dogs and seem to genuinely care about the animals. I feel like they try to get you in ASAP, I've never had to wait too long for an appointment. Prices reasonable for veterinary care. Does whats needed but not tons of extra/possibly unnecessary testing. Thanks North Fork for the service you provide!
