Services
Dayton Animal Clinic has been helping animals in the Rockingham County and Augusta County areas for over 15 years. We've also been providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care to pets from the communities of Dayton, Bridgewater, and Harrisonburg as well as many other locations. Our veterinarians provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and external laboratories.
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, Dayton Animal Clinic stresses the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
Many people have questions about various aspects of their pet's surgery, and we hope this information will help. It also explains the decisions you will need to make before your pet's upcoming surgery. Today's modern anesthetic monitors have made surgery much safer than in the past. Here at Dayton Animal Clinic, we do a thorough physical exam on your pet before administering anesthetics, to ensure that a fever or other illness won't be a problem.
We are always glad to accept resumes from enthusiastic, hard working, dependable, team oriented people who wish to join our team of veterinary health care professionals.

Our golden retriever puppy had a UTI emergency on Christmas Eve, and our local vet was closed. We called Dayton, and they were able to get her in that morning! The staff and Veterinarians were incredibly kind, and the Vet came out and gave me all the details as to what was going on with our girl. We are immensely grateful for their kindness, and they absolutely made clients out of us!

I called in to inquire about 6 kittens that are dealing with sore eyes, and was told I could not be helped at all because I wasn't in their system. When I asked what I needed to do to get into their system, I was also told I could not be helped. Thankfully, another vet office was able to help, and treated me as though they cared about what was going on. Disappointed in the lack of compassion and willingness to give me any information.
