Food is actually pretty good. Customer service is horrible. We recently ordered take out, when we arrived home we noticed an item was missing, (tortillas for our fajitas) Called the restaurant, told the young man what happened and he responded with " Umm ok, what do you want me to do about it". I wasn't expecting anything, just wanted them to be aware. But definitely did not expect to be treated like that. Do better.

We came here last year and loved the food and decided to come back today since we were in the area. First off this is the only Mexican restaurant we have ever been to that does not give complimentary chips and salsa. They did a year ago, but now charge $4 for a basket of chips and salsa. Food was very expensive for a tiny plate. The food was good, but not great. Went to the bathroom and the toilet was filled with mold. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. Very disappointed with this place and we will not be returning.

First time trying this place out. Food was alright, nothing to grand about the food or the decor. We got the nachos with the queso dip and the dip felt more like a soup than a dip. It had a liquid state where it would leave a mess on the table when you took a chip. It looked like one could drink the dip on a $5 dare. The food was decent, especially the tacos. The fish tacos could be cooked a bit more, although it was unfortunate there was no crispy fish tacos there. Not a bad place, whatsoever.

We stopped in here for a quick lunch with our friends before heading out into the wild for a weekend of camping. Due to traffic we were slightly later than the lunch rush and were able to get seated without any trouble.
The restaurant is pretty large with colorful walls, lots of seating options, and a big bar area. Everything, including the bathrooms, felt clean and tidy.
The server was knowledgeable about what gluten free items I could have and I was not disappointed with the saucy beef soft tacos I ordered. I unfortunately couldn't have their chips as they're fried with other gluteny

We stopped by because we wanted Mexican food and traffic on I 5 was horrible.
The guy "welcoming " people was disgustingly rude. Didn't welcome us at all. Then he proceeded to go stand and talk to the others working there. No "would you like something to drink " or chips and salsa or anything. We walked out. They have low ratings for a reason. Heed the warning. Poor customer service and they didn't even care.
We won't be back.

I have to agree with some reviewers. Food is not tasty at all. There is no flavor. They should use more seasonings . Happy hour is a bargain for drinks . The mango margarita was good , the corn tortilla was good but that was it . Our beef and chicken fajita wasn't good . The onions and peppers was way too much . Customer service is great and the place itself is clean and pleasant.

Service was great and the horchata was very legit . I ordered a fajita taco since it delicious . The appearance was awesome , but it didn't have much flavor was it not cooked in lard ? Was it not season enough ? The chips were good , but the salsa was a little watery . Nice place to hang out and get drinks.

I love this place! I get the veggie fajitas since I'm a vegetarian and it's one of my favorite options. Every time I go there the staff are so friendly, the place is clean and you get your food super fast!
One of the best things about Viva Mexican Restaurant is the PORTIONS! You get a lot for your money and the prices are very reasonable.
Another cool thing is the decor of the place! It's sooooo colorful and cool. I won't give away much on the interior because you should go see tor yourself. :)

This has to be the best authentic Mexican restaurant in Dupont! There is a lot to choose from on the menu, the staff is constantly making sure you're good, and the vibes make you feel like Pablo. I'm just kidding, but it does make you wanna dance especially after you've had a taste of their strong but delicious margaritas!
