Provident Hotels & Resorts
Provident Hotels & Resorts was established in 1976 primarily as a residential condominium management company. The condo hotel industry was still just beginning to take shape, and in 1980, Provident Hotels & Resorts transformed an existing hotel on Florida's Gulf Coast into a condominium hotel.

This paved the way for future projects and acquisitions, and the subsequent decades of success helped establish the company as an industry pioneer and leader.Over the years we've established and refined many of the practices, concepts, and philosophies that are now regarded as industry standards.

Provident Hotels & Resorts has been a force in the industry for years, working with third-party operators such as Regent, Hyatt Corporation, and the Ritz Carlton Hotel Company. Through our consulting services, you'll benefit from our experience and avoid common hurdles.
At Provident we have devised a comprehensive Sanitation and Wellness Protocol to create a private resort environment that delivers peace of mind to you. Of course, this means you have no end of options when it comes to your accommodations.

All the staff we encountered were polite and friendly- we stayed in unit 5315 it was clean beds comfortable and very Quiet - the building was located nicely between the beach area and pool - pool was clean not crowded when I went I do wish towels were available at poolside- you need to get them at guest services where you checked in - beach area was pretty quiet and I enjoyed the sunrise over the water - you can't really swim there it's shallow but I pulled my deck chair into the water and sunbathed the gazebo and boardwalk was a pretty touch - marina was quite - i didn't anything

We stayed at the resort in July for a 4 day trip with our boat. We had previously stayed at the resort 20 years ago as well. The resort has been well maintained and our condo we neat and had been updated. Our issue, and its a BIG BIG BIG one, is with the marina. A property management company Monarch manages the marina for the resort and took over in July. We know this because we were told this data a million times when things went wrong. Simply put, we showed up with our boat, tried to pay for our reservation (they only take cash or personal checks) and could not locate the Dock master FOR

It is the least expensive in the area for a reason. It's very run down and dirty visible filth. Can't blame Covid as these units are individually owned there's no excuse for blinds that are half missing and visible dirt in the lobby. Two stars because everybody here is very friendly and in a good spirit.

We booked through amex with confidence. We had the worst experience, went to check in the tables were dirty, nothing was clean or sanitized. This place didn't meet our standards so we decided not to stay and check out immediately after our check in. The front desk personnel was very rude and refused to check us out so we just walked out and left keys at front desk.

At first blush I was impressed with the room we had in building 4, 3rd. floor overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The problems we noticed while there was first, the King size bed was in terrible condition and could be described as sleeping on a U shaped mattress. Also, the door lock to the balcony did not work which was a safety hazard when we had small children. The door lock to the bathroom did not work either. They do not service the room in any way unless requested. TV, Kitchen, Coffee Maker, Frig all worked fine. Winged back chair was very uncomfortable. Sofa was good. Considering it was

I'll change my review after my stay but for now two stars is what it gets all because of the woman with the bleached hair who is the gate keeper to this condo. She is by far the rudest person I have ever encountered. She must be very proud and enjoy the feeling of being superior. You literally push a button to let guests in past a plastic gate, who are paying good money to go on a vacation, you're not guarding the pentagon. Simmer down. I highly advise the supervisor or manager in charge of her babe a conversation with her. There is never any reason to be rude, short, sassy, or make hand

Our experience was great! Cute little resort with gated security staffed entrance. We rented through AirBNB and are pleasantly satisfied. After reading some reviews I was a tad worried. Our room is as described. Renovated, one king bedroom with 2 full bathrooms. We have 2 (smaller) balconies that overlook the mangroves and the ocean. One balcony has 2 chairs and a small table. We are on the 3rd floor. We have a full kitchen, fridge with ice maker and full size coffee pot. We have a safe and all the starter necessities needed to be happy (paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, shampoo, conditioner

I love this hotel! We are in the Bonefish building. You can see a beautiful sunrise over the ocean every morning. There is a lot of wild life here as well. Iguanas, Pelicans, fish, jellyfish and more! The pool and beach are wonderful too.

Not great overall. That non- smoking room was scented strongly of smoke. Bed was uncomfortable. Couch made loud squeaking noise when sat on. One, slow elevator, which had a more than 4 month EXPIRED license in plain sight. Pool and tennis courts are decent.

Secluded apartments that are family friendly and have great security. I felt safe and that the place was clean. Water pressure on the showers could use some work

Do NOT stay here. Ridiculous "regulations" that were outdated 50-70 years ago. But if you insist, be prepared to listen to music at the pool that you can't hear or that would make your great-grandmother happy. I decided to listen to my own music (modern yet appropriate) at poolside - that was a big no-no at this Peyton place. This "resort" place is a joke. Helen Keller could have navigated you to a better stay. Please stay somewhere where you can experience a better culture.

Also, the grounds are covered in animal waste (at least I hope it came from animals).

Need a better process for checkin. Gated entry. Checkin is located at the beach restaurant/bar which is closed for service. One person working it, waited about 30 min in line to check in, ridiculous. The suite was great! Great size, 1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, small balcony, full kitchen, washer and dryer, dishwasher (with complimentary dish detergent pack), elevator. Problems: TV didn't work; room description stated there was a pullout sofa, which there was not. The suite had 2 lazyboy sofas with multiple recliners, and no extra linen to sleep on the couch. Pool is nice and big, crowded though

I will not book this place again. Customer service was awful, getting in the gate plus check in were not good experiences. They were pretty slow and cranky. The 2 rooms we had were okay. Mostly updated and clean. One of the TVs didn't work which was frustrating. The beach area isn't that clean or fun. The pool is big with plenty of tables. This location didn't seem to be near anything either.

We rented at the ocean pointe suites only to be treated by the worst hospitality in the gate house by the names of Wendy and Claudia, who from the moment we approached the gate had a terrible attitude and were extremely rude. They immediately denied our boat mentioning it was too big to secondly call out we had a service dog that was not allowed and refused at the gate. When asked to speak to a manager or supervisor we waited over 30 min outside the gate to be refused.

Super nice vacation rentals for the price! 2 bedroom condo, 2 full baths, $147/night. Great big pool area with a huge hot tub and bar. I could spend all day here! Tennis courts. A second bar area out on the beach, where they also let you rent out for weddings. Really nice staff. Comfy beds. No complaints.

We rented a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo in this resort thru VACASA Our condo was newly remodeled condo, with a full kitchen, washer-dryer, a nice beds, pool and a marina with ocean access. The price was very competitive for what's available in the area. The only draw back is that you are only allowed 2 parking spaces and the couple in our group had to park outside the gate in an area that was watched by the security staff.

I think this place varies greatly based on the time of year and the room you get; luckily our room was clean and was better than the photos! While there was a little rust/dirt on the fridge and the pull-out couch was difficult to put away (likely broken), overall it was in good condition! Our 2 bedroom suite had 2 bathrooms and 2 very small balconies that overlooked the water. We enjoyed the pool and beach area but the cafe should be avoided (understaffed). They also have a hot tub, tennis courts, boat ramp, and small marina for rent. It was a peaceful vacation with few other guests around during

Let me start my review by saying, the rooms are individually owned, so your experience can vary based on your room assignment. This was my 3rd time staying here, and we stayed in the best room so far, which was an end room in building 3. Building 3 is closest to the pool. Our room was clean, everything worked fine, and had a great view. The pool area is great, with plenty of loungers and a few tables with umbrellas. Nice to have a bar area at the pool, and the bathrooms are clean. We went to their beach area, and while it is small, it's nice to have this on-site. Noticed that the boardwalk
