My apartment was not ready when I first moved in. My master bedroom bathroom toilet had issues upon move-in & flooded nearly my entire apartment one of the 1st times I used it, my countertops are unfinished, community washer/dryer in my building (& some others) do not work, storage units are filthy and unusable, I don’t have a faucet for my bathtub, everything desperately needs to be updated, I could go on and on. Oh and ROACHES. EVERYWHERE. Look elsewhere. The office staff has been extremely friendly but it doesn’t change the fact that my apartment is a wreck. I would also bet my apartment

The reason for low price is because of the issues and low maintenance. We moved in January and it was hell since then . We had lot of issues right starting from balcony sliding door to bath tub , Bath shower water leakage oven, bed room windows not fixed firmly . Now the latest issue is water comes down from top floor to kitchen sink and also laundry room . What the hell is happening.
Please don’t come here And don’t suffer like we do . If it’s 100/200$ more that’s fine . Go look for another apartment. My humble request. Thanks

I have lived at La Fontenay for two years now. The place is definitely older, and for sure shows its age in some things. But, it is spacious and perfect for our needs. The new office staff that has been put in place since early 2020 has definitely uplifted the atmosphere, and the maintenance issues now seem to be getting resolved from a once acceptable time frame to a more prompt time frame -- despite all of the Coronavirus limitations. My only real issue is that they have a beautiful outdoor pool, and it is still currently closed due to the pandemic, despite neighboring apartment pools opening

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE...THEY DON'T FIX ANYTHING IN A TIMELY FASHION. I am a current resident who always pays their rent on time....mostly earlier than required. Yet, the office staff and maintenance crew have no sense of urgency to fix anything. My screen door has been off of the balcony for over 1 1/2 months now. I have asked and reminded several times that the door still needs to be put back on the tracks. During my last conversation with Morgan (or Megan don't recall her name) the new assistant manager, she indicated in a snarly and dismissive fashion that she would make sure that everyone was

Would give it less if I could but 0 stars isn't a thing. There are continuous issues with the maintenance here, as it turns out they don't care about the actual tenants because they don't spend money repairing issues they spend all their money upgrading things outside. They also charge you to replace blinds that are damaged because I guess your rent doesn't cover maintenance? Overall just avoid this place unless you have literally no other choice! Also don't bother trying to contact the parent company because apparently they don't care since they never answer or just brush you off!

They have the worst customer service. You can rarely get a hold of someone in the office to speak about anything. Also they have a beautiful pool that is rarely open because they can’t find a certified life guard. My mom has lived her for many years and the fact that she has to pay for the washer and dryer when she’s already paying for rent is unacceptable. As well as not having above standard washer and dryers. The only thing I’ve seen them upgrade is their workout room.

ROACHES. BED BUGS. NASTINESS. They recently put on a fresh coat of paint and a new roof, but the inside is still FILTHY and your home will still be stolen from. By. The. Maintenance. The maintenance people steal and the managers know about it. They will brag in your face about how you can't do anything to stop them. It's in your lease that they can come into your apartment without warning and without permission. They have stolen money and prescription medication from many of the tenants here. It's in a nice part of town, so you might think that you're going to get a nice or semi-nice place. This

Please listen to all the negative reviews. They are all telling the truth. I just moved in less than a month ago and I can tell you everything is true. They will show you a great looking 2 bd and not let you see the actual unit you are going into. Mine, has buggers on the walls, the kitchen base board was covered in dog hair and grease. The carpets were still wet. The entire apartment looks like it should be condemned. The carpet padding is gone if there ever was any. Drains on the building make huge puddles in the areas where you are to have as a patio area. The tub was disgusting. I had to clean

I am upgrading my review of 1 of 5 stars to 2 of 5 stars! The reason I am doing this is because of the new manager that has taken over. She seems genuinely sincere and cares about her tenets needs and wants. However, I have high doubts about this place so I will remain skeptical and let time reveal the truth!

Moving out on September 1 due to relocation of job and I have been happy with my year here. Maintenance is a little slow but I think the staff has been friendly and helpful. The pool is nice and the grounds are very nice. You can't beat the price and the location is great. As for the other reviews I just read, I think some people just like to complain! I have never had any problems with people messing with my car and have even left my bike on the patio all year without any issues. I would recommend this place to anyone who doesn't want to spend a fortune but still get a nice place.
