After having painfully bad experiences with dentists in the past, the contrast coming here was huge! Dr. Kathy and Dr. Chong alleviated my fears. They were gentle and did everything they could to put me at ease and make me comfortable. I trust their judgment and feel completely confident in their treatment plan for me.

Dr. Kathy and her staff are truly amazing! Their service is impeccable and they treat every patient with care. They are truly professionals and excellent at what they do. I came in for an emergency dental visit and they were great from start to finish. Dr. Kathy even called personally to follow up and make sure all was well. Being new to Atlanta, I had no one to ask for a referral, so I looked all over Google to find a good local dentist. Vernon Woods Dental had some of the best reviews and their practice looked very nice and up to date. Not only that, the lady I spoke with to schedule my appointment was very friendly, helpful, and upbeat! Those same characteristics were present when I showed up along with the hygienist and doctor who took care of me. They will be my dentist from here on out! Check them out!

I have been going to see Dr. Kathy and her team for years now. I've been to quite a few dentists in my past and Vernon Woods surpassed them all. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcome. They are so thorough and efficient. Even though I moved far away I will continue to drive 1+ hours for my dental care because they are fantastic!!

Best dental practice I’ve been to hands down! The staff are all very friendly and warm, and welcoming. Dr Kathleen was so personable and was very thorough. And super sweet!!! Just to verify that Dr. Kathy's plan of action was severely flawed, it's been over a year since she wanted to pull teeth and put in a partial. I still have every tooth she wanted to pull and they are just fine. 2 have been crowned, but I'll take a crown over an extraction ANY DAY! I hear she has a new fancier office that specializes in implants. That makes sense based on her readiness to pull my teeth, but I again strongly suggest you get other opinions if that's the plan she and Freida try and sell you.

I have NEVER liked going to the dentist. When I finally found one I liked, he retired a few months later. I was so sad!
About a month ago, a friend recommended I see Dr. Kathy with Vernon Woods Dental. I was a little skeptical, but decided to give it a try.
Everyone there is so nice and friendly! The service I received was amazing!
I had to get a temporary crown and a couple of fillings last week and nearly fell asleep!! I think that goes to show how good Dr. Kathy is at doing her job.

I had a tooth extracted, a upper right molar. Dr. Kathy called in a prescription for an antibiotic prior to the procedure to fight any infection. The extraction was painless. I'm healing well. I look forward to… my three year dental makeover and a great future smile. Dr. Kathy, please consider accepting dental savings plans, so more people can experience your wonderful practice.

Dr. Tantuco was very kind and caring to my elderly mother who was in for a couple of issues. Dr. explained age and bite issues vs. cost vs. durability of possible fixes. She also took a look at a molar that seems to have a bone loss issue and could possibly develop an abscess. Dr was able to explain all the alternatives in a manner my 88 year old mother could understand. All the staff did everything they could to keep her calm and relaxed. Having your first molar removed at 88 is pretty traumatic. Dr. Tantuco and staff are pretty darn compassionate. Mom started having an anxiety attack so Dr Tantuco

Vernon Woods Dental Care is the best dental office. I come quite a distance to see them. I must pass dozens of dentists. I have been coming for years now. Dr. Kathy is so kind and pleasant. The hygenist… remembers me. I even hang for a little to chat with the receptionist. They are just fantastic the whole experience is wonderful.
