Late review but I was recommending this company to a friend and wanted to review.
I utilized this DHI a few years ago to inspect my new home before the end of my 1 year builder’s warranty. Let’s just say I wish I hired him before we closed!

I initially started using Discovery Home Inspections when I saw the care and time Chris Barnes took with the buyers on an older home in Haymount that needed some help. His attention to detail was awesome. What really stood out was the care with which he handled the buyers. The process which could have been scary was professional, informative and done in a manner which gave the buyers confidence that their prospective home was indeed inspected by a professional. This put the buyers at ease, knowing exactly how to proceed with their purchase.

Excellent customer service, very knowledgeable. Conducted a thorough inspection in a timely manner, and did an incredible job explaining his findings, and wrote a very detailed and concise report.
UPDATE: Approx. a month after, I had an issue with my home, which the Home Inspector was NOT responsible for. One phone call, and he came out on his own time and fixed my problem, no questions. Amazing and unbeatable customer service.
