We have bought and sold homes several times in several different cities over the years. Curt provided us with one of the most thorough and professional inspections we have ever received. A home inspection is one of the best investments you will ever make. With a purchase this large you should know exactly what you're walking into prior to closing. I have yet found the perfect house, even when its a brand new property. Contractors and builders sometimes pick budget over quality and that is not fair to you, the buyer.

Curt from Shipshape Home Inspections is awesome, highly recommended if you need an inspection. He is very responsive via text and did a thorough job in a house that was already lived in and full of stuff (and several wily cats in the way). He was available on short notice and I received the report the same day which was unexpected! I would definitely use him on our next home purchase. He was also able to pull double duty and provide a termite inspection and quote as well. Not to mention giving an honest opinion of which inspections I would really need so as not to waste money.

Curt was very professional. We needed the inspection quickly and he was able to provide prompt and thorough service. Curt made sure we understood everything and what we needed to do or have to fix any problems he found. Not only did he say what kind of worker should provide the service, but also if it was a DIY that we could take care of and suggestions of supplies needed. We would highly recommend Curt for all your inspection needs!

Curt's professionalism and honesty alone is worth hiring him. Then there's the inspection. Be prepared to spend 3 or 4 hours while Curt inspects every inch of the house from roof to foundation and all points in between. When he is finished, he will go over the details of the inspection with you right then and there. Then you will receive his report. This is a very in depth report complete with pictures and details that others might miss. In this day of house hunting you want to be sure that the house you are buying is in good shape, my suggestion is to call Curt. I have used him twice in the past

Curt’s ability to take care of every aspect of a home and insurance inspection (as well as the WDO and sewer cam) makes him very worth the money! We were in a time crunch with a short inspection period and didn’t want to have to book multiple inspections, and he came to our rescue! We were able to have all the information we needed to make an informed decision with one visit, and will gladly use Curt again for future home inspections. Highly recommend!
