Professional application of Fluoride varnish has shown to reduce cavities. Fluoride inhibits loss of minerals from enamel and encourages remineralization or strengthening of weakened spots in the enamel. Resin material applied to the biting surfaces of the back teeth to fill in the deep pits and grooves preventing food from building up in these areas and therefore helping protect them from cavities.

From the moment you step into Dr. Reardon's office, the experience is fantastic. Everyone at the front desk is extremely friendly and helpful. Routine appointments like cleanings are easy, and kids love picking from the prize machine. But Dr. Reardon also shines in more challenging situations. When one of my sons needed to have four teeth extracted and was very anxious, Dr. Reardon did an amazing job of calming him down.

My kids have been going to Dr. Reardon for over 10 years. And today I asked if my almost-18-year-old can stay for a few more years! Dr. Reardon is the utmost professional - she is a clear communicator, supportive, conscientious in her work. Dr Reardon and her team are fantastic. She’s the only dentist I’ve taken my children who are now 10 & 8 to see. Dr Reardon is friendly and puts kids quickly at ease. Her front desk staff are kind and easy to get ahold of. The team of hygienists is also great and we are able to consistently see the same hygienist for cleaning which has helped my kids be more comfortable at each appointment. Cannot recommend Dr Reardon enough!

My daughter has always feared the dentist and we have not been able to find a dental family to call home until we found Dr. Reardon. From the moment we walked into the lobby the front staff was friendly and attentive. Bessy the Dental assistant was extremely patient and made my daughter feel so comfortable. My very timid three year old had his first dental visit at Dr Reardon’s. We received a friendly greeting and balloon in the lobby. When booking, I expressed that I was weary of his behavior as he is very sensitive to noise. The front desk informed us that they were able to accommodate us with a private room. The hygienist was very patient, she chatted with my son about the characters on his favorite TV show and there was a TV on the ceiling to watch Netflix on. Dr Reardon answered all my questions and provided dental recommendations. Our family had an awesome experience here.

Quality of Service is something you look for in a dentist when you need the best in the area. This team is available during holiday's and always find time in their schedule for you. The office has all the state of the art equipment and the space is extremely clean. Which is very important during a pandemic and sanitation is priority. The staff is very nice and talks to everyone who visit's the office. I would suggest scheduling in advance as the schedule fills up fast. There's plenty of parking and easy access from I-66 and downtown DC. I'm one of many who travels far when it comes to the Quality
