Services
Our office offers a full range of general dentistry procedures, which are too many to list below. If you have any problems you would like us to address, or would like information about a dental procedure you may have been recommended or may have heard about, please let us know. We are always happy to share, teach, educate and answer questions.
Invisalign is a great example of the marriage of many experts and systems. Invisalign actually takes a CT scan of the dental model of our patient's mouth. Using that CT scan, a computer model is created, from which 3-D CAD/CAM milling is used to fabricate the many aligners that make up the sequence of aligners included in the treatment.
Dr. Jennifer Joobbani (formerly Dr. Jennifer Stewart) relocated to Northern Virginia from the Chapel Hill area after working there in private practice for several years. Dr. Joobbani graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. Patients of Dr. Joobbani appreciate the comprehensive care and education that she provides before and after treatment.
Dr. Dube and her growing family have relocated to Texas, to seek roads less traveled and also to support her husband's blossoming law career. We wish Dr. Dube and her family all the best, in addition to cool winds once in a while, in their new adventure. Perhaps Dr. Dube will someday miss the green forests and changing seasons of Northern Virginia so much that she will move back into our area.
Dr. Erin Ransom recently relocated to the DMV area from Southeastern Connecticut. Dr. Ransom grew up in East Lyme, CT where she attended high school. She attended the University of Notre Dame where she graduated Cum Laude and a member of Sigma Tau Delta, the English honors society. She then worked for four years as a teacher in New York City with Teach For America before returning home to attend the University of Connecticut for dental school.

I just left Virginia Square Dental. It is a state of the art office , friendly, definitely professionalism ways heavy. I hate going to the Denist but my experience assures me I picked the right Denist and I will continue to use them as my dentist. Kudos to the Denist that filled my tooth a tiny gentle lady ! Who explained everything and took her time with me . Thank you Dr Dube . The hygienist were awesome.

Excellent experience! After 15 years at another local dentist, I switched to Virginia Square Dental and am glad I did. Entire staff was great and explained what they were doing every step of the way. Easy to get to location along with street and garage parking makes the trip to the dentist even better!

I've been going to Virginia Square Dental for years. I originally went to them because they were literally the closest dentist to me. However, despite having moved into DC, I still make the trek into Arlington every 6 months for my cleaning because my experience with them has been and continues to be excellent. The proximity to home no longer matters. They're that good.

Let me tell you, this place is slick. From the postcard you probably received in the mail, to the interior design, to the people and machines that'll manage your mouth, they've got it down pat. Barring any serious issues as noted by other reviewers, this is an excellent practice, and the team will make sure your teeth & gums are properly cared for.

I brought my 2 boys (ages 5&3) to Virginia Square Dental. It was a lovely experience from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left. One of the front desk staff came out to personally greet my boys by name and helped them wash their hands. I can’t tell you how helpful that was. She was so sweet. My boys were instantly unafraid and in a good mood. Our hygienist was also very friendly and professional. Dr. Ransom was truly excellent with my children. Fantastic experience. Everybody is professional, cordial and highly skilled. They have excellent Covid mitigation plan and I felt safe. Dr. Bube’ and Brittany are incredible and expertly saved my tooth. They have state of the art equipment, can mill a new crown on site, process dental insurance claims, and offer free indoor parking.

I had a crown put on by Dr. Joobbani and it was extremely painful. Somehow more painful then a root canal. She had no empathy and seemed annoyed at my discomfort instead of finding a way to alleviate it. They also numbed me first and then said they hadn’t gotten the paperwork from the endodontist so they didn’t recommend I continue but I could if I wanted to. Who sticks someone with a huge needle and then says basically oh never mind. They should have checked all that before we began. I have been going to that office for 2 years but because of my experience I will not be returning.

Dishonest doctors. Dr. Dube had to remove retraction cord left in my mouth after three days of a crown placement by Dr. Joobhnie. The extraction was the worst pain I've ever experienced in a dentist office. She gave me a stress ball to hold and refused to give more numbing agent. Afterwards I went to a different practice and was told my gums were healthy, no infection but I probably didn't need a crown in the first place. When I followed up about my invoice, VSD denied having left anything in my mouth at all. Don't go there.

Excellent customer service!! I called to see if I could move my appointment to an earlier date. When I called, the receptionist knew that my partner was being seen the day I requested and offered to move me to that time so we could come at the same time. Saved me a trip and I didn’t even have to explain to her why I wanted to move my appointment. I was so impressed with her service, as I’ve only been there twice before. When I’m there, they are so friendly and kind. Back in the chair, they are caring, thorough, knowledgeable, and have me out the door in no time. Not to mention I got to watch

Stay away. The dentists here are not only dishonest with recommending work that is not necessary, but they will also do a terrible job. They have recommended multiple crowns to me that after getting second opinions I have been told I don't need. Unfortunately, I did get a crown down with them before realizing this and I have had nothing but pain and swelling since, when I had no issues before I saw Virginia Square. I have had to pay out of pocket for another dentist to completely redo the crown - remove it and create a new one, and have also seen multiple specialists regarding the pain who

I had to leave my dentist when my insurance changed, and VSD was nearby and seemed to be a great option. However, it's been more frustrating than smooth from my perspective. My dentist was Dr. Coutts who was great - warm, informational and took time to answer all my questions and concerns. But the customer service is where it all falls short. I felt it was bit a rude and off-putting, with multiple instances of feeling harassed by the front desk. This place used to be good when it first opened. Now they try to up sell you and are too busy to really help clients who need a bit more than your usual cleaning. My husband is a 100% disabled veteran. They were happy to work with the VA and help my husband get a tooth implant. The VA is not easy to work work with, I'm acutely aware of this. I've been to same family dentist since I was a child, so I'm used to catching up with the entire practice and feeling very loved lol. This is the first dentist I've been to since moving to Arlington and definitely wasn't the same type of experience (obviously I guess lol). The MOST responsive front desk I've ever had in a dentist or doctor's office. They answer the phone almost immediately and if they're not around, they respond to voicemails promptly. Appointments were typically on time, though I did have to wait once for about 30 min. That was thankfully an exception though. The dentist and hygienists were all very nice and professional as well.

I had a really really poor experience with Dr. Joobbani and will never return. I was diagnosed with needing a root canal and re-filling 3 old cavities the first time I visited her office. The communication between VSD and the endodontist performing the root procedure was non existent, leading me to obtain more work than necessary. There was very little remorse and consideration for my unnecessary pain and endless Novocain needles. I didn't trust the staff or Dr Joobbani after the first meeting but I had no other option but to return and get the job finished. This is not the place to go if

My girlfriend decided to go here and they told her she needed some crowns put in. This fairly minor procedure has resulted in 2 months of pain, 3 trips back to the VS Dental where they couldn't fix the problem and ultimately a trip to a new dentist who identified the poor teeth shaving that was causing the pain. It was good that they didn't keep charging her, but hard to recommend when they're creating more problems than they're fixing.

VSD is easily the best dental practice I've ever been to. Dr Joobbani, Cynthia, Laurie, Linda, and Stephanie, are always super friendly, extremely professional, and inspire a great deal of confidence in all of their work.
I've had regular check ups, as well as more advanced procedures. I'm also currently halfway through Invisalign, and everything has been handled flawlessly.
I can't recommend them enough.

My husband and I are somewhat new to the area, and hadn't established a new dentist since moving here. We got a flyer in the mail about Dr. Joobbani's new office and decided to give her a try since it has such a great location. It's walking distance from our apartment which we LOVE, and is just a block from the metro for everyone else.

As dental offices go, this has been my favorite. Dr. Joobbani knows what she's doing and is no nonsense. My appointments started on-time or very nearly on-time, which is something other offices don't seem to worry about. The routine work (cleanings, x-rays...) were great and efficient. They took me in for an emergency and handled it well. The office is also very comfortable and modern. It's clear that patients were a focal point of the office design.

Dr. Joobbani and her staff are quite friendly, and knowledgeable, and the office is very modern and clean for an easy and smooth dental experience. However, Virginia Square Dental is not owned and operated by Dr. Joobbani. The practice billed my insurance company at a higher rate than what they billed me on my receipt day-of-service, which is apparently legally all fine and dandy. But when my insurance didn't cover some of the routine procedure I had done, they tried to revise what they charged me to make me pay for all the services at the higher rate, less what my insurance actually covered
