Rosa Mae's Cafe has been a staple among Southern-style restaurants in the triad area for nearly 25 years. Opening in High Point in 1995 and moving to Thomasville in 2010, we've considered it a blessing to share our passion for food with the people of the community. Our priority has always been to deliver home-cooked meals made from the freshest ingredients, believing that our guests deserve the best from their local restaurants.
Unlike other Southern restaurants, our menu consists of a variety of food types and styles, giving you the option to fulfill almost any craving. From homemade Italian specialties and from-scratch Southern classics to handcrafted sandwiches, you'll always find something new to love at our family owned and operated dinner restaurant.

Pleasantly surprised with our meal tonight, we had chicken fettuccine, a flounder sandwich and I had veggies. Salad was fresh with lots of cheese, ranch dressing is tasty and the best part - orange pineapple cake ($3) and key lime pie ($2.50)!! Not sure if how many of you eat dessert, but these prices are amazing!!!

This place is fantastic. Jimmy the owner is always friendly. The servers are always pleasant and efficient and the manager deserves extra praise. She juggles multiple tasks with ease especially when the place gets busy. The food is always great. The menu is solid and quite diverse (sandwiches, soups, salads, Italian items, vegetables, etc). I've had many of the items and never been disappointed by any of them. Portions are big. Prices are fair. Service is always on point. Really all you can ask. They have a drive-thru for pickup. Also, their desserts are always spot on and I'm pretty sure most

Rosa Mae's is one of those small Southern town, fried green tomato, kiss-my-grits kind of diners - frequented by the locals, disdained by the foo/foo crowd and the drive-by grazers. All in all a solid, relaxing place to grab a country cooking meal - that is what they offer, and they do it well - with good service, and a nice smile.
