Mama Lisa Restaurant was founded in 1999 by Gaetano and Mose Costigliola. Their father, Carlo Costigliola, was the owner of Umberto's, a successful Italian restaurant in Patchogue for over fifteen years. With family style recipes that were originated in Italy and passed down through the family, Mama Lisa has developed a tremendous and loyal customer base from early on.

Wife and I received a gift card for Mama Lisa and had no idea what to expect. All I can say is this became our favorite place to eat. The food is fantastic. Well prepared and fresh. We’ve gone back around 20 times in a 6 month period and we do not live close. Friendly staff makes the experience even better. Kudos to the folks running this place. The Manager always makes us feel welcome but he’s not overbearing. I recommend this place to everyone.

I live in East Moriches and order from Mama Lisa on a regular basis. I have never been disappointed with their food (the eggplant parm and tortellini carbonara are outrageously delicious).
In addition to their great food, the staff is always friendly and very thorough.
I highly recommend Mama Lisa if your looking for delicious Italian food, they are the best around!

There are few enough vegetarian options available, but it’s utterly horrifying when they get messed up. I ordered two Eggplant Specialty Slices through UberEats, and not only did they arrive completely lacking all the toppings I was excited about but there was HAM between the eggplant and the crust!! I’m sickened and frustrated beyond belief. Don’t waste your time or money here and certainly do not trust this location if you have dietary restrictions.

Great allergy menu and can even accommodate sesame allergies. ANY eggplant dish is worth ordering. We attended two events there now and found the staff to be attentive and friendly. The first, a 35 person party, was able to block off a semi private section on the restaurant for the event. The second, a dinner party of 10 people, was given plenty of space too. Lastly, the volume in the restaurant was not too loud to carry a conversation at all. All pleasant things to say. One aspect of the parking, the cross walk is great to their sub parking lot but people whip off of Montauk Highway onto the turn

So we went tonite for dinner at 6:30pm. We walked in and were kind of greeted by A.C. He asked us if we made a reservation and we responded no. There were 30 ppl in the entire restaurant! He proceeded to tell us that from now on we had to make a reservation if we wanted to eat there. Im sure the owner would want to smack this guy if he heard how he spoke to people. We eat here all the time and never encountered this! Shrimp parm and chicken dish were good as always. I was going to thank him for squeezing us in when we left but he wasn't there when we left. What nerve, really.

We called in advance for reservations and asked to be seated in the dining room. They sat us in the corner of where the pizza area is. I asked if we can be seated in dining room as per my reservation request and was told no because of covid, mean while the party that was supposed to sit 6ft next to us refuse to sit there and they were seated in dining room. I'm furious, I had guests with me from out of town party of 4 and was never so embarrassed. We are not kids you sit in the corner of a pizza joint.. The table was up against the wall where there was dried sauce on it and the molding around the

This was always my favorite Italian restaurant in town. One of the first places I took my husband on a date when we first starting dating and introduced him to Italian food. The last pizza we had was disappointing but tonight's meal is just sad. The spaghetti and meatballs which is normally his favorite was dry and lacking flavor and my chicken parm had a weird flavor. So sad looks like we will need to find a new place

Mama Lisa is the Italian family restaurant you see on tv. My family and I came here after a long day at Waterdrinker Family Farm. Not gonna lie, I was nervous this was going to be a place where I didn't feel comfortable; but it was the complete opposite. We were warmly welcomed by AC, who basically set the tone for the rest of the evening. Moving into the food--the portions are shareable for two people! The breadsticks are addictive, so make sure you don't fill up on that LOL. Highly recommend the stuffed shells and the lasagna. Shoutout to Desire for the awesome customer service ! She

We had take out from this restaurant last night. We had not been here in a while and since we are looking to support local restaurants during the New York Pause we decided to eat from Mama Lisa's. Just as we remembered, friendly staff inside at the takeout counter. The portions we're plenty, the food was delicious. The pizza was eh, but it was late at night and wouldn't stop us from going back.
Overall though a great local Italian restaurant!
