Services
Dubbed Lincoln's "Rock Palace", The Royal Grove is the city's largest club and has been an entertainment institution since 1933. This live music club has hosted some of the biggest names in music including Deftones, System of a Down, Imagine Dragons, Slipknot, and many more. Perfect for picnics in the summer and ice skating in the winter, Oak Lake Park with its beautiful landscape can be a well-needed getaway from the demands of school.

We offer a roommate matching program for those who have not already pre-selected their roommate(s). With the exception of joining the military, we do not offer a lease termination clause in the lease. The resident is responsible for the entire lease contract. The View does allow residents to transfer their lease agreement with proper authorization from the management staff.

The View is a really great place for students to live. Cheap rent, free pool/hot tub, gym, study rooms, and great front desk/maintenance staff...what more could you ask for? The location is really beautiful as well (hence the name "The View") and it's located just far enough away from downtown and campus to avoid the noisiness of the city, while also being close enough to walk or ride a bike to your classes. Overall, I am having a great time living here.

They have failed in returning my security deposit and my lease ended July 25th. This apartment complex will try and steal your money and it is ILLEGAL!! Do not rent from this complex! They take advantage of college students and their money and unless you want $600 stolen from you avoid renting here at all costs! Also take MANY pictures moving IN and OUT they will do anything to take your money!!

Would not recommend living here to anyone. There has been an infestation of cockroaches in my apartment since I moved in (in August) and it seems like there's more cockroaches now than when I moved in (it's October now). It is absolutely disgusting to walk into my apartment and see cockroaches just crawling out of my sink and all over my kitchen. It's not worth it to live here, you can find a way better apartment in Lincoln for not much more money.

My daughter lived here and the overall experience was awful and the apt was dirty and needed tons of maintenance when she moved in. How can they walk through their apts and think this is acceptable? Not to… mention the common halls smelled. Her window didn’t even shut completely in her bedroom and they just covered up a wall in the bathroom that was completely damaged and looked like it had mold underneath. Then they had the audacity to say she owed money for a broken blind and carpet stain. I seriously don’t even know how they still have tenants. Just taking money and not keeping

The View is an okay apartment complex if you want something kind of cheap. However, the management is not customer focused. In my initial tour of The View the management showed me a “model” apartment. This apartment was much nicer than either of the apartments I was in. After my first year of living in The View the management made me switch units and pay a $300 fee because I did not renew soon enough. Additionally, both of my apartments were in poor condition when I moved in. Dirty kitchens and bathrooms, many items from the previous residents, and damaged barstools that weren’t removed

My daughter rented 4 bedroom apartment with 2 other friends. She was giving keys to a dirty room that I had to clean before she was able to move in. She was lucky to move out when her contract was due. She clean her room and the rest of the apartment clean. They did not refund the deposit and charge an additional $142 when she turn her key without even checking the place. Total scam at this dirty old apartment building. Pictures on websites are not current the place is old and dirty.

I have had the greatest college experience while living at The View for the past two years. I made so many great friends while living here, and the management is great. The ladies in the office, Jade and Courtney, are so sweet! They are always willing to help whenever I called. Shoutout to Corey the maintenance man, he’s the best!

This place is a joke. From mold in the apartments (behind kitchen cabinets that are coming off the walls as well as under the bathroom sink), to painted over outlets, it's not hard to see why this place is bad. Dryers do not dry. The parking lot is riddled with pot holes. My microwave was drilled into from the cabinets to be installed. I can go on and on with this place. The horror stories you'll read here are true

First off, I wasn't thrilled reading some of these reviews but my experience has been completely different than what some are writing. I moved in here in March and have loved it. The price you pay is definitely worth it. Is it brand new, no but I knew that before signing my lease. The pool is open, the office is having more events for the residents now and everyone is so friendly. Maintenance is fast and really nice, and the office staff seems to really care about the residents. I'm looking forward to all the resident events to come!

Came to help move my daughter in, called the day before and they said everything was set to move in, we arrived from out of town and they said she wasn’t scheduled to move in. they also hadn’t informed her of her roomates and took over an hour to check in. also, they didn’t have a key cut for her apartment and had to call someone from off the property to come and cut one for her. very frustrating and not very helpful. also arrived with 2 open hours to move and when they finally gave her the key we had a good 20 minutes. terrible

The View has been a great place to live this school year! I've really enjoyed some of the amenities available, especially the dog park. Maintenance staff is also very responsive and friendly. They're always so nice and give my dog lots of love and attention! I've also made friends with lots of the other residents around the complex. Overall, a great welcoming community to be a part of!

Do not move here, period. Please read the comments about this place before you even consider giving them any money. This place is full of nothing but scam artists. The front office will find every single tiny thing to fine you for, and provide absolutely no explanation or evidence to what the fine is for. Every outlet, plus in, wall, and door has… 20 layers of paint over it and makes the place look completely trashy. The day I was supposed to move in was filled with me having to clean the apartment myself, which was supposed to be done before hand by the view. The entire time I lived there

I, like many others, have had nothing but trouble when dealing with The View. Their page and advertisements are appealing and attract young college students with their affordable rent and close location to campus, however, before even moving in it was already apparent that they are completely unorganized and frankly dishonest. There were charges… that didn’t make sense, charges that weren’t explained and charges that sometimes seemed fake. It takes days for them to get back to you after contacting them. I’ve never talked to an employee from the front office who wasn&rsquo

I haven't even moved in yet and I'm already having issues. To start off, they kept calling asking questions about the application and they kept messing up. Now, the roommates I was assigned to live with weren't the ones requested. I didn't even get paired to live with my sister and family friends. It's my first year as a college student and i don't… feel comfortable living with strangers. I tried reaching out and they said there was nothing that could be done. But there shouldn't have been any issues in the first place. Very bad customer service and I don't even want to move in anymore.

By far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived at. They are so poorly managed and the way they treat their residents astounds me that they are still in business. I had roommate disputes that involved the cops a couple times and the view refused to do anything about it so I asked to transfer rooms. The first person i talked to said that this… was possible and it was no problem I just had to pay the transfer fee. However this is when the dysfunction that is The View started to come to light. I don't think that it is terrible, but it is not great by any means. They couldn't place myself and my current roommate with one of our other friends which is pretty crappy. The front desk people do not know the answers to any of the questions you might have so there is really no point in asking them. I think it is pretty safe for the most part. The walls are incredibly thin as I can hear literally everything that is happening outside which sucks.
