Honestly, my experience with the '50s hasn't been great. When I moved in my unit, it looked like hadn't been cleaned or touched since the last tenants. There is literally no storage in the units either, they do not have a pantry in the kitchen for food, a closet anywhere to put winter coat, or cleaning/ basic house care items in. I can constantly hear the people above me moving around. I went to them about an issue with my roommates and the manager blamed everything on me and reluctantly said he'd fix the issue and never did. The '50s threw random roommates in my unit after

I had a great experience during my time at the 50s!
We did run into issues with appliances frequently breaking, but maintenance was always quick to come up to our room. I appreciate the maintenance crew, as they tended to our unit A LOT. I think the 50s could definitely benefit from upgrading their appliances and even the common space furniture in the units. They are redoing the floor common spaces this summer, so maybe this could be next.
The courtyard cookout was my favorite event they held. We were only able to do one, but I think they should host more of these event- especially towards the

I would not recommend living here. I wish I could've broken my lease early because living here for 1 year has already been enough. Management is very unprofessional. Many appliances/furniture were broken upon moving in, I wouldn't be surprised if they refused to return my deposit when I move out because of it, even though it was all broken before I came here. The walls/floors are very thin. I can hear the residents above me and have been started awake in the middle of the night by the sound of them closing cabinet drawers because the floors are so thin that it shook my ceiling. The rent is too

I had an incredible experience at The 50/50. The roommate finder matched me with a few guys that will now be considered life time best friends. The courtyard was our favorite hang out in nice weather. The management is very friendly and fun. They always seemed welcoming when I came down for my free starbucks coffee and or any other interactions we have had. Maintenance was always quick to fix problems and went above and beyond. I am so happy I chose living at The 50/50 the last 3 years. Much love for this place.

I know many people complain about the 50s, but I didn’t think it could be this bad. Employees have not worn masks when interacting with each other and residents since I moved in at the beginning of 2021 despite claiming to require masks for all in the building. They moved a male into my apartment without my consent even after I voiced my concerns about the situation and expressed discomfort. My maintenance requests have been ignored multiple times. They have ignored my phone calls to emergency after hours maintenance multiple times. Multiple people knocked and entered my apartment late one evening

The 50 50's are an exceptional place to live and here is why, the service is very impressive as well as the management. You are always welcomed by the lovely staff they have on hand: Georgia, Jerry, Chelsea, April, Jack, and Jon. The location is perfect for those wanting night life around Lincoln. The rooms and furnishings are very comfortable as well as the space provided. I believe they deserve full marks due to the kind and mature staff. As well as the amenities they offer. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

I have been living at The 50/50 apartments for over a year now, and I haven't had the chance to complain. The apartments are clean and spacious, the staff is always welcoming and polite, and they offer a ton of amenities. The location is also very convenient as it's a short walk to campus and downtown. I would highly recommend living here, I just renewed my lease!

A decent place until it came time to move out. We deep cleaned our apartment in order to get full security deposit back and were told by the building manager upon inspection we could expect 100% refund. 2 months later, after the 14 days we were told to expect our collective $700's back, we were informed that "there were no records of the 50/50 ever receiving our deposits in the first place". Total crooks who can't compete in the new Lincoln housing market. Would recommend living somewhere else.

I lived here for two years while attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and I really enjoyed my time here. The location is great and really close to everything. Having parking connected to the building was great (even though it was a little pricey). It is a standard student apartment that comes pre-furnished and includes a fitness center. I will say management could do a better job managing the fitness center because the machines would break down a lot and it would take months to get them fixed.
I would recommend this style of living for any students looking for a safe, convenient place to

Jerry and his staff went over everything pretty clearly when it came to signing the lease. I've seen a few reviews where rooms weren't cleaned before move-in but ours was plenty clean when we moved in. We did have issues with some of our appliances but the maintenance crew always got it fixed right away. Really nice that it's so close to campus and downtown. One issue with the building is that the walls are pretty hollow so sound tends to bleed into other rooms. It's not terrible but it's noticeable. Overall this wasn't a terrible place to live in.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my year at 50! I love the location! It is so nice not to have to worry about parking and be able to walk to the bars and all my classes. There are so many student living options around campus that I considered initially, but I couldn't be happier that I chose the 50/50. It's a great atmosphere, awesome staff and good accommodations. I would recommend this apartment to any student searching for housing.

I think the 50/50 student living is a great place to live. It is within walking distance of all school buildings and has a ton of accommodations for its residents. The office staff is very helpful and my roommates and I have always received the help we require if we've ever asked for anything (lightbulbs changed, sinks unclogged, etc.). I have had a great experience living here and will miss the freedoms it gave me that dorms/sorority houses couldn't.

Don't ever consider living here. The only thing nice about this place is the location. Everything is made cheap and breaks, dishwasher, washing machine, ice maker, furniture and the elevator goes out almost every other day. It's incredibly over priced and is dirty all the time. They are terrible about fixing things and there is often no hot water in the early morning if you need to be out before their office opens don't plan on showing. They also are very disorganized and overall it is a terrible place to live
