Services
We accept cash, check, debit or credit card. HSA cards can be used. Payment is due at time of service. We can also bill clergy, including LDS bishops, with written authorization from the clergy prior to the first session. We do not bill insurance plans directly. We will gladly provide documentation, at your request, that you can submit for possible reimbursement to your insurance company, if you have an out of network benefit on your plan.
The good news is, there are effective, evidence based treatments that CAN get to the root of the problem. You can heal. However, it is important to know that not all therapists are trained to help you through your trauma. Working through these issues can be tricky, and it is imperative that your therapist understand how to keep you safe through the process.
We all have profound needs for safety, belonging and to be accepted and valued by others. The patterns we establish to get these needs met begin to form as we are infants, in response to the interactions we have with our caregivers and the world around us. These patterns are played out over and over, again and again in our closest relationships, through childhood and into adulthood.
Loss is a universal human experience. Grief is how we respond to loss, particularly when we lose someone or something that we care deeply about. Grief is a difficult, but natural process that helps us adapt to the changes that loss brings to our lives. Sometimes, we adjust to loss with the support of our friends, family, and community and require no further assistance.
Addiction is a complex disease that requires individualized treatment. Addiction refers not only to a dependence on substances, but also includes behaviors such as pornography and gambling. Treatment for addiction involves not only allowing the brain and the body to heal, but also changing thought and behavior patterns as well as treating any underlying issues and triggers.
