We ordered Astral Catering for our corporate mixer event this month, and the food was really good. The Hill County Chicken and Potatoes Au Gratin were my favorite with lots of flavor and seasoning. They also did a nice job on the presentation of the appetizers. The setup was decorative and inviting.
Assorted Danish, croissants, bagels, muffins, freshly cut fruit, creamed cheese, butter, jelly and jams served with orange juice and freshly brewed coffee. Assortment of our danish, croissants, bagels, muffins served with cream cheese, butter, preserves and sliced seasonal fresh fruit. Scramble eggs, hash browns or home fries, choice of two meats: sausage, bacon or black forest ham.
Sweet and savory crepes with your choice of fresh fruits, fried bananas, chocolate, dulce de leche, cheese, seafood, meat and topped off with your choice of whipped cream, sour cream or ice cream. Please order culinary action stations for a minimum of seventy-five guests for a one and one-half hour service.

So tried to call and get a quote for a wedding, a lady answered and said something unintelligible, several times she repeated whatever she was saying, I still have no idea, and I just said I'd call back. Well if they don't have a person who can communicate on the phone I doubt they have someone who can cook food.

I contacted Astral to quote on a dinner party for 10 people at my home. I was ordering from their "Platinum" (most expensive) menu. It took 3 business days to get a quote (there are no prices on their website). The quote I got was for the food - $565, delivery - $50 and a mysterious "service charge" -$89.10 and taxes. Their prices are as much as a high-end restaurant in Houston which is fine if the food was good. But I wanted to know what the $89.10 service charge was for. It took another 3 business days to get back to me. The service charge is to "cover the cost for things such as insurance, advertising

We used Astral catering for our wedding at Demers Banquet Hall and it was fantastic! Our menu consisted of house salad, Lana's chicken, vegetable medley, and garlic mashed potatoes and it was delicious. The service that Astral provided us was perfect, we had 200 guests and not one complaint. I would highly recommend using this catering company.

My son got married this past weekend and he and his bride found Astral Catering. I am so glad they did! Karen Garcia was a pleasure to work with and had great food suggestions. I got so many compliments on the food which was more than delicious. We did not have a wedding planner, but they kept in steady contact with us and were patient when we changed our minds on things. They also handled the linens and silverware, which was perfect. We had our daughter's wedding catered by Astral and we could not have been more pleased. They were more than willing to work with us on our specific preferences. We had lost our original caterer and Adrian quickly came to the rescue. I felt that everyone was incredibly professional and concerned that we honesly enjoy their food and service. I am very pleased with the catering service they provided. I sought them out because last minute the previous caterer decided that they we not able to handle our party. We had 20 guest at our own venue.

THE BEST CATERER IN HOUSTON, TX - BAR NONE! We hired Lana and her staff to cater our wedding. We decided to pick a local caterer after calling so many others. And I'm glad we did. She gave special attention to every detail. The food was prepared perfectly and the presentation was gorgeous. The serving staff was so friendly and courteous.
