Each of us started our fitness journey alone and had too many false starts than either one of us cared for. Once we found functional fitness (Steve in 2006 and Anna in 2010) the frequent setbacks and stutter start lessened significantly. We are by no means "there", perfect, or finished with our wellness journey because we came to learn it is a lifelong pursuit.

I've been lifting at CrossFit Banshee for around 2 months now and I am beyond happy with my experience so far. The community atmosphere is excellent and Anna and Steve are awesome coaches/ owners. Their attention to detail with form and technique is at a level I do not see at other gyms. Anna also has an abundance of nutritional knowledge that she shares with the members. 5/5 recommend Crossfit Banshee!

I chose this gym based off the positive reviews on google. I wanted to step up my workouts and was getting bored with my routine at a conventional gym. Prior to starting CrossFit, I was intimidated and didn’t know what to expect. From my very first day the owners, Anna and Steve have met me where I’m at and worked with me to push me mentally and physically. They cover the basis of nutrition, training, flexibility and recovery which I feel are the keys to progressing as an athlete. The community at the gym is also very welcome and supportive. I came here one day starting from a couch potato. The trainers were friendly and energetic from the get go and made me feel right at home. Great gym. I have dropped in a couple times and since the first time everyone has been great. One of the nicest group of people i have worked out with. The trainers have always asked how I feel and if anything hurts. They actually care about how I am doing. Great place. I Recommend it for a good workout.

I have been enjoying this beginner friendly and community oriented gym since the doors opened. Steve the owner invests a lot of time into being a coach who wants to help you become aware of your limitations (mental and physical!) better you as an athlete and help you achieve your goals.
I have attended 3 other CrossFit gyms in the area and the approach at Banshee is most closely aligned to becoming a well rounded athlete, they aren't just pushing you to add more weight or go faster. Safety, mobility, stability, and recovery are also high priorities on the coach's checklist.
