There is just something about pushing a heavy weight overhead that is so empowering and makes you feel like you can take on anything. I think part of it is the symbolic nature of feeling like you're carrying the world on your shoulders, and being to lift it off when you want and need to. Feeling like it doesn't weigh you down because you are in control and can press it up and off you.
We don't do things the ordinary way around here. We strive to make improvements in HOW we move and HOW we perform. We focus on getting stronger by using proper exercise technique and we use specialty exercises to help the body function better. That is the reason for the unique title of this 30-Day program.
What is one exercise that is appropriate for people of all fitness levels and for people who are new to kettlebells and/or strength training? My boyfriend & I joined in February 2017. By the end of 2017, I was able to obtain my Russian Kettlebell Certification I (RKC I). We consider ourselves lucky to have found Shari (my boyfriend found her after a lot research actually). Her kettlebell technique is pretty much perfection and she teaches and trains this perfect technique with intention and with fun. This has allowed me to be stronger than I've ever been. I was bored with my regular fitness training and I felt stuck from reaching my fitness goals. I never used kettlebells in my strength training before and Shari made me feel comfortable in her class. Since I started training with her guidance and nutrition, I am stronger, leaner and have much more endurance in my runs! After almost one year working out at Iron Clad fitness i really needed to let everyone know how awesome this place is. I am stronger, sleeping better, have more energy, and feel great! I love the feel of the classes and the camaraderie. Shari is an excellent trainer and so supportive. I highly recommend anyone, beginner or expert level in fitness or anywhere in between to come check this place out.

I have just finished my first year with Shari and absolutely have fallen in love with kettle bells. I love the small class size, the individual attention to technique and form, and the variety of exercises and routines. I have gained a lot more strength, more fit than I could ever get just by cycling, and has even helped with my cycling skills!

After just over two years as a member, I earned my Hardstyle Kettlebell Certification! Shari has been such a positive influence in my wellness campaign; she really cares for and about her clientele. If you want to gain strength and be held accountable, this is the place! I have gained strength, a community and a sense of achievement over the past 2 years. It's small group classes where the coach can adjust your moves to get the correct position and get quality out of your workout! The other clients at the gym are so friendly and welcoming! You have to check it out! Iron Clad has drop in classes and a whole week FREE Just to check it out! Once I took a free week I was hooded!

If you're looking for challenging workouts and a supportive atmosphere, then I highly recommend Ironclad fitness. I had never done kettlebell workouts prior to coming to Ironclad, but Shari is an excellent coach. She designs challenging and fun workouts for all fitness levels. She is highly knowledgeable in proper technique as well being to adapt workouts if you have an an injury or special need. I really enjoyed the small classes because I felt like I recieved personalized coaching for my fitness needs. In addition, there is a strong sense of community at Ironclad.

I definitely can recommend this studio. The groups are small and atmosphere is friendly. You can come with experience or without it, but the result will be amazing. Shari is a great instructor, very attentive to details. She is very dedicated and intense, has the best credentials as a trainer. Shari built her training such way that I feel personal attention every time I come to the class. If a student has some health problem, Shari will adjust training to improve one's conditions and make eventually feel better and stronger. Classes include not only kettlebels exercises but elements of yoga, endurance

This work out is awesome, you get weight training, cardio, and some personal training at each session and it all happens in 45 minutes. I like it better than cross-fit because of the attention to form and lower incidence of injury. I've lost more than 25 pounds and my muscle definition is noticeable (and it happened without me noticing!!) And I'm over 50!! I highly recommend Iron Clad Fitness to anyone looking to improve their physical fitness!!

Amazing, understanding, patient and an overall excellent trainer!!!
I went to Shari with an injured lower back and she took me slowly thru strengthening and conditioning to the point where a two year injury is now almost completely healed. I have gained so much thru working with her and would highly recommend her to anyone at ANY age or fitness level. I do a combo of personal training and classes and I can't decide which one I like better because they are both so incredibly helpful and challenging. I also like the fact that this gym isn't a chain and I'm not just another number!

In March of 2014 I met with Shari Wagner, owner and certified Russian Kettle Bell instructor at Iron Clad Fitness. I had FINALLY motivated myself to participate in her Transformation Contest. Little did I know what the next year would bring.
I may not have won the contest but thanks to Shari I have won the gift of living life. Prior to starting at Iron Clad Fitness I was very over weight, suffered from severe depression (uncontrollable by meds), high blood pressure, and chronic back pain

Kettlebells are an AMAZING way to get into shape! I was fit and active when I first tried a kettlebell class, wow was I surprised at how effective the exercise was... Definitley a full body workout, healthy, safe, fun and intense! Shari is a wonderful person who has a true passion about fitness, kettlebell training and more importantly, passionate about helping others get into the best shape and health of their lives. I started this review as I sat in the gym office while Shari was giving an intro to a new client. Listening to her just reminded me of how GOOD she really is. She not only knows her stuff, but she's such a great teacher and constantly learning and expanding her own knowledge. Iron Clad Fitness offers such a great high intense low impact workout in a fun and safe environment. Smaller classes, better personal attention and not stocked full of meatheads. I am someone who didn't start working out (period) let alone with kettlebells until I was 36yrs old, don't give up on finding what

This is a long overdue review.

Iron Clad fitness is awesome and will most definitely whip you into shape. I was first introduced to this place during a Yelp event but later continued coming to the center for a month because I won a free month through a raffle. It was hard for me to come out to classes since I was/am in a graduate program and I already had automatic membership to my apartment gym as well as an additional membership to my school gym but the trips I did make were absolutely worth it.

The amount of knowledge you get out of each lesson is astounding. You're definitely in for an intense workout with strength circuits and high heart-rate rounds of 'swinging', but the owner and head instructor also makes sure to take the time to positively critique you so you are getting the most out of your workout.

It's not a workout for the birds - it takes patience, stamina, and most of all technique. Technique not only goes a long way for body transformation, but it also protects you. Remember these are heavy kettle bells you are swinging around. It's important to

Holy workout Batman!

I came here for the Yelp's Spring Into Shape Elite Event and loved this non-traditional Yelp Event! I like free food and drink but I also love my body so it was nice to show it some love and strengthen up! Iron Clad has been open for the past 18 months and the owner, Shari is certified in Russian Kettlebell Challenge (RKC) and is also a TRX trainer and nutritionalist. It's funny we had an event there because I remember perusing their website about a year ago while checking out gyms in the Denver area. I guess it was fate that finally brought me here....or Yelp..

This is a fantastic place to work out. Just what I needed, a combined cardio and strength workout taught by professionals with cheerful, upbeat attitudes. After 5 months, I'm most definitely stronger and have dropped weight combined with a change in my eating habits.

I've worked out with a number of trainers and different gyms and I think it can be tough to find the combination of great trainers and a supportive class environment as you learn. This is one of the best I've worked out at.

I have had the great opportunity to train with Shari. Prior to her training, I had no experience with kettlebells. Shari is extremely patient in teaching proper form. Her emphasis on correct technique and safety ensure a successful and enjoyable kettlebell workout.
