Services
Since 2013, Axistence Athletics has combined the best of a variety of fitness disciplines, so you get the results you want in a safe, supportive environment. We're in southeast Denver, love the outdoors, and want to help people be fit enough to enjoy the type of active existence they want, whether that means being strong enough to kayak the Arkansas River, or to keep up with your grandchildren.
First we'll chat to make sure this is a place you can thrive while achieving your goals. We'll find out where you are now, and where you want to be in the future. If you're new, we'll make sure you're comfortable and confident with the basic fitness movements. If you're advanced, we'll shore up and polish your technique.
An individual who values living a life of adventure and consistently trains to prepare for that journey. Purposeful training designed to prepare the individual for physical and mental challenges they may encounter throughout their life and while on their adventures; essentially developing the strength and skill for a long life of active existence (Axistence).
You're welcome to try a free Saturday class or move right into the pipeline. 2. Skills Training a.k.a. The Pipeline. Based on your level of experience, we'll recommend some introductory classes to learn the movements. If you're experienced, we may recommend a few sessions to polish your technique and hone in on your goals.
Situated in South East Denver, by Lowry. Inside the walls of our no-frills warehouse facility, you'll find our students training in an indoor/outdoor format in a wide array of strength and conditioning disciplines from gymnastics and weightlifting, to strongman and parkour. Axistence is a community of people who take living their life to it's fullest very seriously, while not taking themselves too seriously.

I've worked out at a lot of gyms, and Axistence is at the top of all of them. Coach/owner who cares about all the members.
I found this gym on March 13, 2019..the day the world shut down for the pandemic, and I did not attend any classes until June...I was so grateful for all of the COVID precautions at the time.
Great coaches, great people!

This is an exceptional business full of great coaches and members. I joined Axistence in January 2020, which meant I had just a few "normal" months before COVID restrictions set in. I joined with a lot of running experience but little formal strength training. From the first day, Ryan, Dan, and the other coaches made every effort to provide me with detailed, useful feedback to improve. As a result, I've made huge strides in my form and movement, allowing me to progress more quickly than I'd expected. I was also impressed with how hard the Axistence team worked to accommodate various needs during

Axistence Athletics is a great gym with a fantastic community of people that are living an active existence. Small group training gives you the benefits of a personal trainer at a fraction of the cost. Dan, Ryan and Garret are knowledgeable and experienced coaches that put a lot of thought and effort into designing a training program that will help you in whatever activities you enjoy outside the gym. Skiing, hiking, climbing, running, walking, yard work, playing with the kids, power shopping, whatever it is you like to do, you'll enjoy it more after training here.

I have been part of the Axistence community for almost 2 years and it has been the BEST match for my fitness goals. The coaches have extensive training that puts their credentials and ability to help their clients way beyond the typically gym trainer. This community is full of real people, with real jobs, and real ambition - no meat heads and no body shaming. Their philosophy is all about getting your body in the best shape for an adventurous life AND for your individual health goals.

Great place, glad I found out about it. Trainers are great and knowledgeable. Friendly, fun, and low key atmosphere but serious about their mission of training for life long adventures while meeting your personal goals. Different workout daily/weekly. Only been going for two months and love it! It's something I look forward to and dread sometimes (in a good way). Challenged consistently so I'm looking forward to the continued gains I will make as I pursue this journey.
