Services
Here at Lions Martial Arts Academy we believe that our job is to build the person as a whole and martial arts is our tool. We focus on teaching leadership, respect, responsbiltiy and a sense of compassion for others. We hope to use martial arts as a way to give our students a foundation on which to build a healthy and happy life.
Located in the heart of Grayslake IL we believe that hard work and strong values are the corner stone of Lions Martial Arts Academy. Our values are centered on the Tenets of Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control and Indomitable Spirit. Anyone can train a person to fight. Here we teach our students to become a complete black belt person before they are given a Lions Martial Arts black belt.
Lions Martial Arts Academy has a strong sense of civic responsibility. We provided a weekly free service to the Lake County Health Department that taught at-risk teens how to make better decisions and gave them some tools to help navigate their way through the different situations that they faced. We are currently running an after school program and a portion goes back to Frederick Middle School.
With over 100 years of combined experience, we bring a wide variety of talents to this organization. We have been students, instructors, master instructors, mentors, competitors, and coaches while managing several successful martial arts organizations around the country. We have strived to bring the best instuctors in the area under one roof.

My son has been coming to class since the beginning of the summer. Since he has started I have noticed a difference in his additude, listening, and respect for others. His teachers are amazing with him and all the other students. I would recommend any person interested to come to this school to learn martial arts.

Master Darius and Guru Edie are so helpful and patient with our son. Can't reccomend them enough. The dojang teaches Taekwon do, eskrima and akido with jujitsu mixed in on occasion. More than a school, its really a community that participates in parades, teaches at risk kids and raises funds for hurricane/typhoon victims.
