David began his career as a jeweler in 1996 while still attending college. David's experience includes management with a large retail corporate chain stone, managing a specialty engraving store, and returning to the bench in 2003 when he joined Lane Wells Jewelry Repair as the shop foreman. When Mr. Wells retired, David carried on the tradition.
Every item of jewelry is as unique and different as the person wearing it. So, while we do our best to stay true to these prices, everything here is an ESTIMATE until we have your precious item in front us to confirm all the necessary work, and the cost of that repair or adjustment. This is just a small sample of our pricing and available repair work.

This review is quite overdue. I broke the post on an earring, from a pair of gold huggies/small hoop earrings, while in Taiwan in May 2019. I kept the earrings and the broken piece in hopes of repairing them. These earrings are solid gold and I got them while in korea in 2015, literally wear these earrings everyday.
I contacted lane wells through yelp for a quote, and I contacted another jewelry repair shop as well. Lane wells had the better reply and customer service of the two, even went so far as to briefly talk about the process for repair and gave me an actual price quote. Other business

I had taken in a ring my mother left to me. It kept breaking and was missing a diamond. This place repaired my ring so nicely that ring now holds up just perfectly and the diamond added shines just as much as the rest on my ring. I highly recommend this place.

David was the nicest most knowledgeable guy! Every time I come here I am delighted by the attention these folks give their customers. I will be coming here for life for all of my jewelry needs. I had an unfortunate incident that knocked the topaz loose on my engagement ring, David had me in and out of the shop within 10 minutes with a secure re-set on the gem and a free cleaning :) I’m extremely impressed and you will be too!

I got my engagement ring resized here a few months ago and I am so happy with the work they did!
They took the time to walk me through what they would be doing (it was quite a big size difference) and were thoughtful about handling it properly. When I picked it up, they made sure I was satisfied as well! They're worth putting your trust in.

I didn't even have my jewelry repaired here.. just went in to ask about it and get a quote. But Noah was super knowledgeable, patient, and professional!! We talked about several jewelry related things which definitely told me he knew what he was talking about. He even showed their long-time jeweler some items I was wondering about which this gentleman had good info on too! Next time I need something repaired, even though their turnaround takes several days, I'll be coming here. Great place with real, hard-working and knowledgeable bench jewelers on site!! I really enjoyed the open concept

I CANNOT begin to explain the level of service that Lane Wells provided to me. I had an issue with my wedding rings with an allergy and haven’t been able to wear them for 2 months. After doing a bunch of research I figured out I needed to resize them, but was very paranoid about leaving my engagement ring for a period of time, since it was my… grandmother’s ring. Noah went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with leaving it. Not only, did he help with easing my paranoia but he got the ring done fast for me.

Needed a necklace fixed so found this place with very good reviews. Once there I asked about getting my rings cleaned and left them as well. I just picked up my necklace and rings and am very happy with what they did. Very great service and friendly staff. I wish I could have done a before and after picture to compare. Rings look better in person then in the picture I posted.

I have 3 wedding bands (engagement ring and 2 bands) and I needed them to be rhodium dipped to make them shiny and new again...
I dropped them off at 12:15pm on a Tuesday and they were ready that same day at 4:45pm!
Even though this was a further drive than some other jewelers, due to the positive reviews I gave them a shot. My rings look absolutely beautiful and I couldn't be happier with the customer service!
