HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH MANAGEMENT. If I could give a 0/5 I would. We had come to this apartment complex in hopes of leasing an apartment for my son who is going to UNT. As soon as we got there, the employee was unwilling to give answers to simple questions such as, "can anyone show us around?" or "what units do you have available?". They refused to show us around the complex or any of the amenities. On top of not wanting to show us a unit, the employee said we could lease the apartment without looking at the unit but he would not show us anything. A/C units do not work I recommend these to be shut down!! It is 94 degrees in my apt and the manger states that there is nothing that they can do about it. It's been this way for 3 weeks now and still nothing but you will see maintenance everyday casually walking around during the day doing nothing!!

My friend attempted to rent an apartment here and the experience was horrible. When we saw the apartment we noticed extreme water damage in the kitchen, bathroom, and living area. There is a strong smell of mold and there was water all over the carpet. The cabinets are falling apart and only one of the stove tops worked. To top it all off there were mushrooms growing out of the carpet. I’ve never seen a worse apartment. We saw it 20 minutes before all expenses were paid. Horrible customer service and they will do anything to screw you over and take your money. They made us leave the apartment

Warning: if you have no other choice, sure go for it. I stayed here for two years while I was in school and never loved it. When I moved in it was a roach motel. Parking was horrible and often I had to park at the front of the complex even though my apartment was at the back. For two years I paid my rent early and never gave any issues. A year after my move out I find out through another rental application that I owe money here. They had 6 ways of contacting for payment and never did. I was never mailed a final until out bill now I’m having to resolve my issues with the credit bureau because

Horrible experience with the leasing office. I applied online, was approved, and asked that the preliminary lease be sent to my email, but they just out right ignored my calls and emails. Never received the lease agreement to sign. According to their rental policy, one must sign the agreement within three days after being notified of approval of application. The good news is I never received the lease agreement. I am no longer moving here. Horrible customer service.

Our stove top coils exploded while cooking, caused the entire stove/oven to stop working as well as burned the entire stove top. This could of caused the entire apartment to burn down! I made a request for a new stove top as I need to cook and eat. I was not able to make dinner, breakfast or lunch and we are now at another day of being unable to cook. You would think that they would take something like this serious but I have yet to have someone stop by and fix it, so to another day of no cooking, no meals and I can guarantee that they will not be reimburse me for all the takeout meals I'm needing

I was helped out by Brice, he is a good person and genuinely cares about those who live at these apartments. He helped me get the work orders in and make sure our move in was as good as it could be. Everything in the apartment is good for a first time home. There are some chips on the wall, paint peeling in the kitchen and a few other things. However, this is still a great place for first time renters and it is quiet around the neighborhood. So far I haven't had any problems with any fees or other things. :)

Been living here for about 5 years and it’s been amazing. Met different managers and they were all great but I must say their maintenance workers are sooo awesome (Rogelio, Jamie , Christian ) they are hardworking, consistent and very dedicated to their jobs. They make sure they fix every issues very quickly and promptly, Please keep them and don’t let them go

* Edit: it is absolutely mind blowing that it takes WEEKS to get an email reply from your office and MONTHS to have serious issues addressed/fixed or in some cases even acknowledged. But you can reply to a Google review within 12 hours.

I stayed here for a little over a year! The apartments are alright, paper thin walls so you will hear your neighbors. The maintenance team is great but the office team is not. I started in a two bed room and then my roommate moved out so I asked to be moved to a one bed room which I was told was no problem. Was told the exact unit I would move into. Come the day of move in they gave me a completely different Unit. My advice, make sure you talk to the same exact person every time! They do not communicate as a team at all! Our experience with The Vibe had issues from the very beginning. Looking back now, I wish we just said F this and went somewhere else to live. The rent is not worth what you will have to deal with here and tbh the rent shouldn't even be as high as it is. But that's beside the point. The main issue is with the leasing office, specifically Miriam, but it doesn't matter what I post, she will just respond with sarcastic niceness and continue to not do her job. If you move in to these apartments, you will experience her first hand and all I have to say is good luck dealing with her putting

I was looking to move closer to my job, and did my usual online search for an apartment, and came across The Vibe Denton. At the time, the complex had a move-in special, with a move-in date for October 25th for a 2b, 1b unit for $975. We were searching for a apartment in the area, saw that they were running a special so we stopped in. Billy was really good, very professional, we drove to the apartment that we were interested in. You can tell that these are older apartments. The rooms are very small and appliances were dirty. Smelled terrible in there. It was a immediate turn off. Over charging for the square footage. Thank goodness included in the special the application fees were only $20/ea. As you know most application fees are non refundable. Highly suggest taking the time to look around. I just love living here. I love my neighbors. Everyone is nice. Most importantly the staff from the manager administrative team to the maintenance team they are so nice. As I am writing this review I am sitting in an 83 degree apartment. I called almost 7 hours ago for them to have them come fix it (and this isn't the first time). When I called to follow up I was told that the maintenance does the work orders in the order they come in and brush me off. Which I understand. But it is 83 degrees in here. This is not the only problem I have has as well. Upon move in we had to pay many fees including an insufficient credit history and rental history for a total of $400 even though the main person has great credit. If I could give this place no stars I would

I was scheduled to move in on a set date. I get there to sign the lease, they tell me my apartment won't be ready till the following Monday. I didn't have time to wait so I had to take a different one, after the cleaning crew came in and cleaned I went into the apartment and it was completely roach infested! Absolutely disgusting. First of all I just want to make it clear that most of these reviews were from the old management and when this new management came in they had to pick up from pretty much beginning because of all the old management's not taking the time to care about their residents and only cared about remodeling the outside of the apartments instead of also benefiting the residents by remodeling the insides. Oooooh boy, this is a fun one. Where to start.
1.) Our unit was not ready on our move in day. There was so many things broken and not ready. The place was a wreck, sawdust everywhere. A broken bathtub, drawers that wouldn't slide in and out, bedroom door stuck on carpet, cabinet broken off the hinges. Took almost 2 months to get everything fixed.
2.) Every-time rent is paid, we paid on time and in full like good noodles. However after a week or two we'll get a notification saying that we still owe anywhere from $20-$40 every month and they'll never tell why we owe that money. Not

NOW CALLED THE VIBE APARTMENTS: My year lease is FINALLY up and I was ready to leave day one. I moved in a year ago to a "fully renovated" unit. Upon arrival, I discovered that not only did the cabinet doors not close all the way and were riddled with chips (and what looked to be chewed corners), there were also stains all over the inside of the front door, inside stairs, and upstairs chair rail...among several other issues. My boyfriend and I are in month 4 out of our 6 month lease. We moved from another city and only chose this complex as a stepping stone to find one we actually liked in Denton.

So far here is a list of things that have been replaced/broken/some still not fixed:

*Shower head (we actually had to request one on the day of move in...there wasn't one in our apartment)
*Refrigerator (all our groceries went bad, took 4 days to replace fridge)
*stove top burners (still waiting on these to get fixed)

The office staff is friendly enough and rent is cheap (students get a discount). However, the cheap rent is not worth what goes on in this complex. Maintenance doesn't do anything. They aren't very quick, and more often than not, they don't fix what they are called out to do. When I first moved in, I had a leaky tub faucet, and they came out three times before it actually was resolved. Pipes burst somewhere in the walls near our unit and water leaked from the floor in multiple spots in our kitchen, in the hall, and in a bathroom. They never did a thing for that, except drop off a
