Montreal Beach Resort

This review is overdue but finally here. Last year we stayed at their sister place, "The Boarding House" for my birthday weekend. We tried again this year but waited too late and no rooms were available. We decided on Montreal Beach Resort. Our weekend was with another couple, 3 out of the 4 celebrating birthdays within a week of our stay! We made the reservations directly with the resort rather than an outside company. This place has everything you need for a visit to the Jersey shore. Fourth floor room provides a balcony for two and an ocean view. There is a pool on the premises and a restaurant and even a liquor store 😀. Grab and go continental breakfast included during our October stay.

Excellent hotel. Walking distance less than 1 mile to shopping and restaurants. Has Harry's bar and restaurant on site which is also great.

Clean, good service and fun restaurant. About as close as you can get to the beach, which was wonderful. Walkable to town as well. We stayed in a room with a kitchen and foldout couch, perfect for our two little ones.

Just make sure you're confident you'll be able to make the reservation after booking. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances I needed to cancel my reservation and they took a 20% service fee. I spoke with Dustin the GM and was told there were no exceptions to the policy and if I was him I would just be happy with receiving 80% back. I've stayed in Cape May every year for the past 8+ years but don't expect to visit this resort in the future, especially with their being so many other great places to stay that are much more accommodating. Great place for family. A place the have everything. A great restaurant and bar. Plus a liquor store. You have everything under one roof. Please don't forget the beach is a cross street. Please What else you need in vacation you have in one place.

The place is very nice and the staff that you deal with are very pleasant. However, their room cleaning policy is terrible and nothing less than a sneaky way to increase their profits. Room should be serviced every day. At least make the beds and provide towels.
It is interesting that your response to your obvious drive to cut your costs to the detriment of my comfort is "everybody else is doing it". Sorry that is not an acceptable adult response, you know that there is really no Covid reason to not cleaning the rooms and providing fresh towels. All you are really doing is cutting the salary of

This is my second year staying at this resort and I LOVE IT!!! We already booked again for next year!
I love how there was little turn around at the front desk, meaning I got to work with the same great people from last year ensuring another great stay!
Larry, the owner is always seen around the resort making sure everyone is happy and everything is on point (which it always is).
Our room is always perfectly clean thanks to Paulette!!
The restaurant is awesome… the food is great but the drinks… especially the ORANGE CRUSH IS DIVINE!!!

This place is awesome!! My wife and I been coming to Cape May for 22 years with our moms and stayed at B&B'S. Both mom's have passed away. Came here for two nights. Diane at the desk was very accommodating. Place was clean and people were friendly. Harry's bar was unbelievable. Lily took care of us. Booking for September again.... CAN'T WAIT!!

We stayed three days there . We enjoyed it the room was beautiful and the view was even better! The best part is they have a restaurant on premises so you really don’t have to go anywhere else. If you’re looking for something to do go to the zoo. Also parking was very tight. Pool was open drinks are slamming !! Rooftop area was out side of our sliding door was so nice to layout and chill.
