Jeffrey D. Glen, DDS has been in private practice since 1998 in Roxborough area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Chicago. Dr. Glen strives to provide his patients with the most up-to-date dental services and treatments available, which includes countless hours of continuing education. Being certified in Invisalign orthodontics, and extensive training in dental implants allows his patients additional benefits for lifelong dental health as well.
Crowns are full coverage restorations that are used to cover a tooth that is likely to break, or is too broken down to be restored with a filling. They are most commonly done after root canal treatment, or when a large filling wears out. The larger the hole made by a cavity that has to be treated, the more likely a crown will be needed.
The system provides the same beautiful results as traditional braces, but since the trays are made of clear plastic, they are virtually invisible. In addition, because Invisalign trays are removable, they can be taken out while eating, drinking, brushing and flossing. The Invisalign System works begins by first creating a series of trays that will each moving your teeth gradually until the end result is achieved.
Our office is open Monday through Thursday, with hours that can accommodate most any schedule. I am a medical physician who went to Dr. Glenn to get a cavity filled. Initially, we couldn't get x rays because I had jaw pain, so he asked me to return when I was feeling better. I did return after 3 weeks where they took x rays. Dr. Glenn said I have gum disease and need a cleaning but I asked him about my cavity (which was the reason I came in to see him) he said it just feels like a cavity but you just need to get a cleaning done first. Before leaving i asked if he was sure my cavity was not going to turn into a root canal? He replied and said no there is nothing there. Unfortunately, that

Dr. Glen is an excellent dentist. He also has a way to relieve any anxiety you may have with getting dental work done. Excellent bed(chair)side manner. His staff is beyond friendly and the relaxed atmosphere (yet very professional) is also comforting. I can finally say, I do not dread going to the dentist! I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Glen and his staff!

I’ve been seeing Dr Glen and staff for well over a decade, I have complete trust in him and his staff and they always do an outstanding job. Dr Glen is trustworthy and has integrity, so even though I don’t have dental Insurance I see him twice a year and can always count on getting excellent (and reasonable) care!

I would not recommend Dr. Glen or his practice. Regardless of the dental service they provide their billing procedures are lazy and extremely unprofessional. I've always prepaid for our out of pocket portion of services that insurance does not cover. They do not bill you after treatment and require upfront payments, even after being a patient for years (possibly because they lack confidence in their treatments and are afraid patients may not pay?) Dr. Glenn's office never contacted myself or my family for what they claimed to a collections company is an unpaid balance of $100 from services in 2018

I do not recommend going to Jeffry Glen at all.I got two caps done there the first cap the temporary fell off the same day that his assistant put on I called back and I told him that It fell off the same day they told me to come back and they will put it back on so I did it and it fell off the next day so I decided not to go back until the permanent was ready to get put in the The permanent cap that his assistant put in actually fell out a week later. I called back and I told him that the permanent has fell out and they shouldn't happen and I would like for the actual dentist Jeffrey going

As a local medical professional myself, I do not enjoy having to make reviews like this one. I was a patient of Dr. Glenn’s for a few years. During this time, appointments were consistently behind schedule. There was never enough time available for him to adjust my mouth guard, despite telling the receptionists beforehand that this would need to be done each appointment. He sold me a new mouth guard that was subsequently never adjusted and thus I now never wear ($300 down the drain). I never write reviews but going to a new dentist for the first time In my life, was disconcerting. Knew I had been procrastinating finding what needed to be done with my teeth and finally did it. Dr. Glen said the dreaded root canal. I was having no pain. Wanted to start conservatively. Wasn't sure if he'd be offended because...Im certainly not sure it's the best idea. He was fine starting with a filling since there was no pain. He numbed me up amazingly well. Was so supportive congratulated me for trusting him and getting the needed work done. I've been going to Dr. Glen for 5 years and have been very satisfied with his care and most importantly his honesty. He is not quick to recommend procedures like fillings unless they are absolutely necessary and he'll be honest with you about how much you actually need to visit him. When I didn't have dental insurance, they had a fair rate for cleanings when paying cash. Like most dentists, you may be recommended to have frequent x-rays so you will need to do your own research about how often you really want to have them done, especially if you have no known dental problems. My wife was treated very unfairly there because of a co-pay issue. It was explained to her the day of her appointment how much money she would have to pay for a co-pay... and Dr. Jeffrey D. Glen. must have been having a bad day today because he treating her unfairly and pretty much told her that she's got to go to a different dentist... Sad and rude.!! Dr. Glen is fantastic - it is so hard to find a good, trustworthy, thorough dentist and I am glad I am finally fixing my dental issues. I haven't had a lot of good luck with my teeth in the past but Dr. Glen is getting me back on track. The office is friendly and timely for appointments and I can walk to his office, which you can't beat. Even if you are traveling from out of west Philly, it is definitely worth the drive. I am not dreading my future work as much now that I have found a great dentist!

We had a positive experience here. I had an emergency issue, and they were able to get me in right away even though I was a new patient. My kids came with me, and the staff was friendly and accommodating to them. We waited 2-3 minutes for our appointment, (we're used to waiting up to 20 minutes at other dentists). I was happy with the results of the dental procedure, and my children are asking to switch to Dr. Glen as their dentist, as well! So happy to have found a good dentist in our neighborhood.

I never made it into the office, so this review is mainly about my dealings with the front desk. First off, they could only schedule me 6 weeks from when I called. Not necessarily a bad thing, just don't expect to get an apt quickly if you are a new patient. Second, they had an issue finding my insurance coverage even though I checked and it should have been fine. Really it seemed like the staff was too busy to look into it. My overall impression was that this office is extremely busy and probably overworked.

A very pleaant and efficient office and a Dentist with a soothing voice, and calm manner! What else could a girl want when she has 3 fillings to get? Thank you all for your professionalism and excellent work. I received a cleaning and 3 replaced fillings in a bit over an hour. For as long as I live in the Philly area Dr. Glen is my dentist.

Dr. Glen was incredibly personable during my teeth cleaning. I think he understands that people (especially myself) are somewhat nervous when it comes to the dentist.
Also, he was honest in his opinion about my wisdom teeth and had a conversation with me about it.
The appointment was swift yet thorough and the staff were nice.

I don't even know where to begin. From the completely non-traumatic dental cleaning by Kristen, to the efficiency of the desk staff, and the genuine honesty of Dr. Glen I have never been anything less than in awe of how great they treat me!
They are more than willing to help out with any issues that come up. For example, I had a couple temporary teeth put in while waiting for veneers to be finished. On the 2nd night after having them put in one popped out. This was on a Saturday night, the day before Fathers Day. Dr. Glen had given me his cell phone number JUST IN CASE this were to happen
