Hello, I am Steve Kallao. If you are searching for an inspector, I understand that you have many choices. That is why I would like to explain to you why I am the best choice for your home inspector. I realize that this home, or building, you are purchasing is a huge investment, and it is my job to do my best to protect you from major defects.

My goal is to be prepared when I arrive at the home with the proper instruments and tool to do a thorough inspection, record all my findings for you, help you understand the implications of the findings, and direct you as necessary to a corrective resolution. My report is computer generated with digital pictures, and arrows pointing to any problems.

My Promise to You: Choosing the best home inspector can be a confusing and hard decision. But I promise that I will treat your potential new home as if I was going to buy it and give you the very best. I want you to have excellent peace of mind with your new purchase. Upon delivery of my inspection report to you, if you feel that you did not receive a thorough and comprehensive report, just ask and I will give you a refund.
The National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI) is the world's largest, most elite non-profit inspection association. Our home buying clients enjoy the HI Experience only NACHI Certified Inspectors can provide.

Our inspectors have all successfully passed NACHI's Inspector Examination, taken a Standards of Practice Quiz, completed a Code of Ethics Course, adhere to Standards of Practice, abide by a Code of Ethics, attend required continuing education courses, and are NACHI Certified.
Almost no home is going to be perfect (even new or recently built construction). Inspectors usually will discover some issues needing attention or that the buyer and seller should be aware of. These sample home inspection reports reflects a typical home in good condition. I use the HomeGauge service to deliver my reports to my client and their agents over the Internet and they can be viewed very easily.
Attic/crawlspace - As a general rule, if a home has less than 11 to 12 inches of insulation in the attic or crawlspace, it could probably use more. Use batt or blown insulation for best results. Check with a Lowe's expert to determine the proper R-value of insulation for your home. Water heater and hot water pipes - Conserve heat and energy by swaddling your water heater with an insulation blanket kit or faced fiberglass insulation.
Molds produce tiny spores to reproduce. Mold spores waft through the indoor and outdoor air continually. When mold spores land on a damp spot indoors, they may begin growing and digesting whatever they are growing on in order to survive. There are molds that can grow on wood, paper, carpet, and foods.
